Jazzy Spies
sung by Grace Slick (of Jefferson Airplane/Starship)
NOTE: Similar to "The Pinball Song", these animated sketches changed slightly for each number but the general theme and the spies at the end stayed the same, hence the name (my own title, not official).
Number 7 Version
Silence, a marathon runner jogs up to the camera, a seven on his shirt.
Jazzy music starts, numbers 1-10 flash on jazzy background.
Two hands up, fingers pop up one at a time as female voice and number above the hands count to ten.
Jazzy numbers again.
Numbered racecars pull up, voice sings 1-10.
Huge 7 is drawn on screen, voice sings "Seven!"
Seven parts like curtains to reveal a wizard with 7 on his hat and cloak. He bows to reveal he has a 7 on his bald head as well. Then he parts his cloak to reveal another room with an identical wizard inside. Voice says "Seven," slowly.
New wizard takes off his hat, gestures, and seven rabbits leap out and pile into a stack on the floor.
A turtle with a 7 on his helmet races through, running into the stack and pushing it away. Voice calls, "Seven!"
Wizard pulls out a playing card - the 7 of clubs - he lowers it to the ground and it becomes huge and all the clubs on it turn into little black birds. Voice says, "Seven?"
Wizard opens card like a door, revealing a red hallway. Birds flutter in, wizard closes door, which now has a large black 7 on it. Then the card sucks up into the wizard's hand.
Wizard makes a 7 appear on each side of him, then makes a flash of light towards us that fills entire screen. When light clears, we see wizard fall from sky, and pick himself up again, then we pull back as the first wizard closes his cloak again. Voice sings, "Seven!"
Jazzy numbers again.
10 spies, opening their coats one at a time, revealing the numbers 1-10, as voice counts/sings 1-10.
Then the spies fade away, and the numbers grow in size until they black out the entire screen.

Number 8 Version
not complete yet
Silence as something I don’t recall appears, but with a number eight.
Jazzy music starts. The numbers 1-10 flash on a jazzy background.
Two hands appear, and the fingers pop up one at a time as Grace Slick’s voice and a number above the hands count to ten.
Jazzy numbers again.
Numbered racecars pull up. Grace’s voice sings 1-10.
A huge 8 is drawn on screen. Grace sings "Eight!"
Forgotten parts. We see an octagon-shaped sign, probably a STOP sign. It changes to a flower with eight petals and a number 8 in the center. A caterpillar eats it, and Grace says, “Eight!”
A spider eats the caterpillar and licks its lips. Grace says, “Eight!”
A snake eats the spider. Grace says, “Eight!” Then the snake twists itself into a number 8. Grace says, “Eight!”
Jazzy numbers again.
We see the ten spies again, opening their coats one at a time, revealing the numbers 1-10, as Grace sings, “One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten!”
Then the spies fade away, and the numbers grow in size until they black out the entire screen. As they do, we see this cartoon on Bert and Ernie’s TV.
Ernie [turning off the TV as he sings]: One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten! Oh, that counting stuff reminds me of a great game. Hey, Bert, you want to play with me?
Bert: Oh, no. Not another one of your meatball games.
Ernie: Oh, no, Bert. I promise you, Bert, this is not a meatball game.
Bert: No tricks?
Ernie: No tricks.
Bert: Well, how’s it go?
Ernie: See, I say, “I one the sandbox.” Then you say, “I two the sandbox,” and so on and so forth, and on and on like that.
Bert: Okay.
Ernie: Okay, I’ll start. I was walking down the street the other day, and I saw a sandbox. I one the sandbox.
[Pause.]
Bert: Oh ... oh, now. I two the sandbox.
Ernie: I three the sandbox.
Bert: I four the sandbox.
Ernie: I five the sandbox.
Bert: I six the sandbox.
Ernie: I seven the sandbox.
Bert: I eight the sandbox.
Ernie: You ate the sandbox? [Laughs.] How’d it taste, Bert?
Bert: I don’t know.
