Pool C Round-Robin Game
Game 1
Final Reign took two wights, and heavy archers. The Temps decided to take three wights and slightly less archers. Carch went wight hunting with a massive ghol pack, and managed to nail both FR wights (taking heavy casualties in the process). FR then started an archer war in the center, but got toasted by the Temps' warriors and a great wight. FR managed to nail all of the enemy wights with thrall underwater (one in the middle of their thrall!), but the Temps' archer superiority allowed them to move onto the flag and from there it was simple to keep FR away since they were so slow to commit. Game 2
Both armies selected two wights, and a medium set of archers. Final Reign split their army 50/50 center and south, with a ghol flank to the north. FR managed to tag Deacon's thrall underwater with a wight, and they then proceeded to cross the bridge, catching a wight on the way. FR's south flank got taken out, but Krunch's brave troops inflicted severe casualties on the larger Temp forces. After the dust had settled, FR's thrall superiority combined with the fact that they neutralized the Temps' ghols early on let them tag 6 to win easily. Game 3
The Temps were heavy in the middle, while FR took strong flanking forces. FR was the first to four flags and withdrew to their home flag. After about five minutes of dithering, the Temps mounted a rushed attack with 30 seconds to go, and arrived strung out in a conga line. Good night, nurse. Match Summary (films)
FR shows off their mad skills in this set of games. They're hampered by only having a two-person team in the first game, and so Krunch misses the wight that effectively loses the game (quite understandable, really, I do it all the time). The Temps put up a good fight in Game 2, but seem directionless in Game 3. - Butcher
