Pool C Round-Robin Game
Game 1
The Temps selected three wights for this game, whereas DBL neglected to choose any pus-filled friends, choosing instead to take the maximum number of ghols. Early on, Carch got a wight on a group of stationary thrall, and shortly afterwards scored a devastating wight hit on another group of thrall. DBL then started an archer war and lost very badly. At the end, DBL's warriors charged into the Temps' thrall and got pulverized. Their wounded thrall were sandwiched and quickly chewed up, but it didn't matter as they were nowhere near the flag. DBL's assault never even got off their own bank of the river. In a word: annihilated. Game 2
DBL took three wights this time and maxiumum archers, with fewer ghols and thrall. The Temps took no wights, and maxiumum infantry. At the start, the Temps' ghols quickly raced off the mark and managed to hunt down two out of the three enemy wights, splattering an enemy ghol pack with collateral damage. The rest of their army set off in a juggernaut to the south, while DBL crossed the bridge and sent their warriors north. The Temps' juggernaut massacred DBL's archers and thrall, then crossed the river and took out DBL's warrior forces. An easy cleanup netted them maximum points for this game. Game 3
Both armies sent most of their troops to the middle. DBL initiated an attack, but totally bungled it and were destroyed. The Temps easily tagged the lightly defended flank flags to hand DBL a crushing defeat. Match Summary (films)
DBL are sorely outmatched in this painful set of games. It didn't help that they only had two players, who seemed not to use the chat button very much. Our condolences to their army. - Butcher
