Pool D Round-Robin Game
Game 1
Note: this film was Out of Sync when reviewed. Both armies select two wights, with the Bamboo Fighters going for more ghols, and Lucifer's Knights taking more archers. Killer started an archer war, and lost badly. LK tried to insert wights into the river, but they were both nailed by Killer's thrall. LK pressed their archer advantage a bit too far, and Killer charged them with warriors, who were injured by the archers on the way to LK's army, and then sandwiched by Killer's warriors and thrall. The warriors went down quickly, and Killer followed them up with a second wave, this time of thrall. The thrall charged superior numbers and were destroyed, giving LK a conclusive win. Game 2
LK selected two wights again, and close to maximum archers (18). This left them with few ghols and less than maximum thrall. Meanwhile, Killer had taken four wights (healing two for pus) and a dwarf, with a small group of seven archers. LK went for a three-way split army, and Killer's force stuck together for a heavy south flank. LK's north force crossed the ford and came down to the center, while LK's south force bravely engaged the enemy. Although Killer's force far outnumbered the LK troops in the south, through poor coordination the initial odds were almost even and the LK troops killed nearly all of their warriors and some thrall. Killer set off a ghol pus/satchel bomb against the LK ghols in the north, which blew cleavers everywhere. LK's north and center forces then coordinated to take out Killer's center rearguard, while Killer's main assault force (which was down to thrall only) was wounded by LK's archers and finally destroyed by LK's center thrall. LK's forces were easily able to clean up and take six flags. Game 3
Both teams have lost this film, so it could not be reviewed. Match Summary (films)
The Bamboo Fighters are outclassed by their Swedish foes, particularly in their melee skills. This lets Lucifer's Knights win the first and second games despite splitting their army in the second game. - Butcher
