Pool E Round-Robin Game
Game 1
The Seraphs opted for three wights, the Hand of Lathander choosing maximum archers instead. The HoL army charged with its archers, protected by a sacrificial ghol shield, however they lacked height and were being defeated when they chose to retreat through the tangled mess of infantry. Their army got even more tangled up, and while arrows rained down from the elevated Seraphs' archers, two wights emerged from the depths to complete the farce. It was already over when HoL charged the Seraphs' advancing thrall, leading with their warriors, who were swiftly cut down. Game 2
The Seraphs took three wights, and tried to heal them for pus but suffered an accidental pizzaparty. Fortunately the rest of their army had left the staging point, but they still looked particularly stupid. They adopted a three-way split army, and when HoL saw this they charged the center with their entire army. HoL quickly triumphed in the center, however their warriors got repeatedly pussed doing so. The HoL thrall advanced north inexorably and took out the Seraphs' north army with some ghol assistance. Meanwhile, the Seraphs' south army had circled around and ended up facing the main HoL army across the bridge again. Thanats executed a superb bait maneuver with his archers and was able to double-wight the Seraphs' remaining warriors. A minor cleanup resulted in a six-flag win for HoL. Game 3
The Hand of Lathander tagged both the center flags and both their flank flags, then sent three trow against the enemy defense to win easily. Game over. Match Summary (films)
The first game was just an unfortunate mess for HoL, but they recovered to win the second and games handily. - Butcher
