Pool F Round-Robin Game
Game 1
The Majestic Dragons selected three wights and healed all three for pus, going for a light archer setup. Altus Praeses decided to stick with their trademark four-wight, two-ghol-bomb setup, and it paid off in this game, big time. The two ghol bombs managed to nuke about half of MaD's warriors, and Wintermute got a very nice wight on the enemy thrall in the east. When the main battle started, MaD's infantry folded very quickly, and their archers were fodder before AP's warrior charge. A thorough beating. Game 2
This game has to rank as one of the most impressive displays of teamwork, coordination, and mad Myth skillz that I've seen in a long time. AP take four wights and a dwarf, healing two wights for pus. They only select five archers. Meanwhile, MaD take two wights, two journeymen and a medium selection of archers. Altus Praeses go for a large north warrior and thrall flank, and Sid the Gr8's ghols manage to kill both enemy wights. The remaining ghols pick up pus from the exploded enemy wights and pus their archers for extra style points. Meanwhile, MaD's center army is on the receiving end of a wight and is totally annihilated, like a whelk in a supernova. Altus Praeses' remaining forces converge on the MaD forces in the south and cut them down from several directions at once. Game over, man. Altus Praeses still have 65% of their force left. The damage statistics tell a chilling tale: AP 72.2%, MaD 27.8%. Game 3
MaD were forced to forfeit this game due to time constraints. Match Summary (films)
Not much needs to be said. The Majestic Dragons were demolished by an inhumanly precise and coordinated attack in games 1 and 2, and didn't stick around for a third game. These are probably the best films so far in the MWC, from a cold-blooded-slaughter point of view. - Butcher
