Both teams decided to go with multiple wights and a jmen to melt them. The one dwarf chosen by the dOOdz was to play little role (except as dinner for a CoV ghol patrol). Initial gholwork was a little sloppy for both armies and CoV took some needless causulties against dOOdish warriors and the seattle hacker doodz wasted pus on a pair of archers. In the midgame CoV seemed in slight disarray as a handful of unescorted units ventured into the killing zones of the dOOdz. Nevertheless, the game was to besided by pus and wights. After a mispus by CoV the melee began in earnest in the middle-east. This battle began relatively even, but timely pussing by dOOdz on the backs of the CoV warrior platoon signalled the beginning of the end. Both sides sent thrall reserves in, but a successful wighting allowed dOOdz to win the game by a decent margin.

Pus was the weapon of choice today, as both armies opted for this option. In addition dwarves were chosen by both sides (with dOOdz getting three times as many as CoV). Successful hunting of these molotov tossing midgets nullified the destructive potential of these units for both sides. In sharp contrast to the defensive middle of dOOdz was the twin fast flanks of CoV (with a thrall and archer anchor in the east). Initial pussing left something to be desired as the dOOdz went into extreme overkill and wasted at least 3 large pus packets on a single CoV ghol. The divided CoV force then attacked the static enemy in the midwest. One problem with this attack was the fact that the N flank came in a bit too soo, meeting both enemy pus and numerous enemy troops. The loss of this flank was to prove costly in the impending battle. As the southern CoV flank met the enemy in the midwest the middle CoV force inched slowly across the bridge. Despite valiant fighting only a few ghols were able to escape the wrath of the western dOOd defense. Even a beautiful satchel bomb by CoV was unable to even up the losses suffered by the flanks. As the now superior dOOd army began marching towards the bridge the ever alert Cross of Valor army saw an opening. With stealthy use of ghols they snuck a tag of the sixth flag and left a dumbfounded enemy wondering how such a result could be.

CoV chose to send 3 trow middle, some 'zerks NE, and heavy infantry to the S. The seattle hacker doodz opted for a more unorthodox strategy (3 trow NW, heavy infantry NE, and some 'zerks to the middle). Facing superior numbers the CoV forces backed off a bit from the NE flag. Meanwhile, the mighty CoV trow were able to gain control of both middle flags (though dOOdz manageed to tag flag 1). A costly waste of a trow in the middle by dOOdz began to signal that the game would swing towards CoV. The remaining two dOOd trow were sent to the south where they were able to successfully defeat the CoV army there. However, the costly lack of ANY defense in both the NW and NE corner flags allowed Cross of Valor 'zerks to tag both of these without contest, winning the match in the process.
