Pool H Round-Robin Game
Game 1
Both armies take four wights and medium archers, VR trading ghols for archers. VR manage to hunt one of the WD wights with a ghol, but two wights find nice targets in Kentaro's thrall, prompting him to charge his warriors into hopeless odds. The rest of VR's warriors follow him, and are damaged by two misplaced friendly wights. I have no idea how (and neither do VR, by the film!), but VR managed to pull off a close victory to win the game. Game 2
VR take no wights, and go heavy on archers. Watership Down take two wights instead of so many archers. The Voracious Rabbits set up a juggernaut in the center, while WD send their warriors south in a flank. VR start an archer war in the middle and get wighted. They then waited for the enemy flank to arrive behind them before charging. Their warrior rearguard got trashed by the flank attack, and their thrall were chewed up by WD's center... it was all over for VR, at least in this game. Game 3
Watership Down went for a strong center, and were able to push VR off their center flag. WD's zerks also chewed up the VR warriors on the flank to tag four flags first. VR made a botched trow attack, and this gave WD the weight of numbers to overwhelm VR's flag defense, tagging 5 flags to win. Match Summary (films)
Watership Down takes VR out systematically, after a surprising loss in the first game... maybe VR knows something about wighting your own troops that we don't? - Butcher
