Deckard chooses to take three wights, and heal two for pus... an interesting move given that his attention is likely to be stretched commanding Creep solo anyway. He only takes medium to light archers. Meanwhile, RF are selecting two wights and three journeymen. RF push ghols through the gaps in OMAG's vanguard to nail two of three OMAG wights, the third being taken out by a thrall underwater. Once their thrall arrive, they push the attack all the way to the enemy bank (the OMAG forces haven't got that far yet). A mixed warrior / thrall assault force takes out OMAG's warriors, while the RF ghols also maul the enemy archers. Then the OMAG thrall make it to the front from their staging point near the rear, and are destroyed in turn. RF's journeymen never really got a chance to be used effectively, it was all over too suddenly.

OMAG took two wights, a journeyman and eight lonely archers. RF took a similar mix, with a dwarf as well for a ghol bomb. When the game starts, RF set up a juggernaut and go north only to be met by the bulk of OMAG's infantry in the OMAG-held northwest. The battle begins, and OMAG's thrall are held down in the crater bowl while their warriors are crushed up on the rim; the RF assault force then swarms into the bowl and takes the thrall out convincingly. Renwood's ghol bomb makes a lot of noise and flying cleavers as he detonates the OMAG ghol pack, which causes the remaining OMAG thrall to wander off their flag guarding duty and leave the flag unguarded; RF snag 6 for the win.

Both armies have a strong center. OMAG take out all of RF's center, and then send their zerks racing to the NW flag, while RF's two trow take on the OMAG warrior defense at their last flag. The warriors manage to keep the trow from contesting for just long enough to let OMAG's zerks tag the undefended NW flag, giving Deckard a tension-filled win.

Deckard wishes he could Order Me A Teammate, but puts up a good fight by himself, keeping OMAG's honor by winning the last battle despite five to one odds stacked against him. We salute you, Deckard!
