Pool O Round-Robin Game
Game 1
Both armies chose four wights in their troop setup, easy on the archers. All four CL wights got hunted by CB's ghols, and CB got two early wights in on their thrall. After the midgame, CB had one wight left submerged. The Clan of the Bear's army charged CL's position, leading with their thrall against CL's defending warriors. This was enough to give them the edge for a close win. Game 2
CL had four wights, CB took max ghols instead, and were able to hunt down two of the enemy wights. Meanwhile, CL had sent part of their army in a big north flank, with CB staying in a juggernaut in the center. Some poor warrior work (a mis-click?) saw Crimson charge the enemy fortification with 8 warriors and get cut down. The Clan of the Bear charged back in response, CL getting a good wight on their thrall as they did so. Battle was joined, but an over-enthusiastic Gnarly Eyeball accidentally annihilated much of CL's ghols and warriors with a second wight. Friendly fire from CL's archers nearly wiped their remaining melee out, but they were able to hang on by the skin of their teeth, winning the infantry battle with two warriors and two thrall. These scant forces were enough to clean up the remaining CB troops and win. Game 3
CL sent most of their army to the middle and tagged both flags first, but then, in a fine show of chivalry, backed off and let CB have them as well... ?! CB easily tagged the unguarded flank flags, for a quick (and humiliating for CL) win. Match Summary (films)
Despite several catastrophic (or nearly so) blunders, CL pull off an *extremely* tight win. Crimson must be kicking himself for those trow maneuvers! - Butcher
