Pool P Round-Robin Game
Game 1
As the game starts the Dwarves go for pus, not too much melee and two wights. The FFC decides to invest in plenty of archers and melee heavy with some ghols but uses no wights. The two teams don't spare much time with any maneuvering of ghols or archer duels, but wind up fighting fiercly at center quite fast. #CP#D don't get their pus into any worthwhile action and do not have enough melee to make up to hold up against FFC's onslaught of thrall and warriors. A nasty double wighting does, however, rob FFC of some percentage of their forces. FFC grabs a messy win. Game 2
#CP#D does a quite orthodox setup in this game; FFC decide that dwarves and large amounts of archers is going to benefit them, while neither team gets any wights. Both teams gather at center quite soon with only ghols running at the flank flags. A quick sortie of the protective water by #CP#D's thrall is not taken advantage of by FFC's dwarves and only does minor damage. When the two opponents finally crash into each other #CP#D loses the team Commander, Sven. YSD fights a bit questionably in center, forgets to move some of his thrall up to swing at FFC's troops and also lets two of FFC's dwarves take a bit of his troops. Other than that the dwarves cause more damage to their own side before blowing them selves or being shot by archers. #CP#D's fate looks grim, with only a few thrall and archers remaining that FFC can see. However, a large pack of ghols is still roaming the map and after some maneuvering they swiftly dispose of FFC's band of archers and then capture all but 1 flag, securing an unexpected win for #CP#D. Game 3
Both teams go for a an all-melee setup, but FCC fails to move fast enough, loses the race for 2 flags and lets go of another which should have been held. The northeast flag (III) is tagged by FCC but not defended, giving #CP#D a win after only 3 minutes and only 4 units killed. Not the most exciting of games... Match Summary (films)
FFC pulled off a (close) victory in the first game, but their fondness for dwarves and lack of FR practice let them down in the second and third games. Holy Soldier of FFC remarked "We only went up against 2 of the members and they still beat us. We hope to pull out of this losing streak with the last two teams in our pool." - The Crimson King
