This multilingual battle pitted an archer heavy Ploaf force against a ghol based SBS army. SBS started in the SW and chose a delayed wight insertion plan as Ploaf inched to the middle from the NW. Both teams seemed to be enjoying the intense pressure of playing a world cup match and voiced this to one another. In the initial wight hunt wars both teams were moderately successful. However, Ploaf was able to detonate a SBS wight close to friendly thrall (just escaping the efforts of the Swedish journeyman). With 3 minutes left an underwater skirmish began between thrall platoons in the east. As this bloodbath grew an archer led Ploaf army advanced upon the flag. Once the valiant swedish infanty rallied to face this archer threat they retreated...into the open mouths and sharpened cleavers of a flanking SBS ghol pack. In addition a thrall platoon of Ploaf was out of position for the final melee, a melee that saw superior micromanagement of SBS turn the tide of the battle and walk away with a victory.

Alas, the film for this match seems to have escaped the archives. In its place is the severed head of a dwarf. For this reason we believe the key suspect is a ghol.

Both teams chose the standard 3-20-13 unit mix with SBS starting in the superior SW while Ploaf began the game in the SE. Ploaf chose to defend the middle east flag while SBS sent most of its infantry to the NW. The sheer numbers of Ploaf soldiers in the middle forced SBS to give up the middle and trail 3 flags to 4. Needing the NE and the E mid flags SBS decided to send no less than 3 trow to the NE. This overkill allowed Ploaf to send 3 trow + 5 'zerks to the NW and successfully take a 5th flag. While certain death awaited them the infantry of SBS were able to delay Ploaf long enough to allow the SBS trow trio to take the middle east flag during sudden death. The end result being that Ploaf won due to an earlier tag of the 5th flag.

Despite using instructions in two languages the Swedish Bastard Squad was able to overcome the forces of Ploaf. Overall, these teams were pretty equal in skill, with the aggregate body count favoring SBS.
