Evil Incorporated start in the center and southwest, while the Satanic Army's legions begin the game in the northwest and southeast. Every army selects maximum infantry and a journeyman for pus. At the start of the game, Phos' army travels northwest and faces off against SA. Good pus and journeyman usage lets them win, but they take heavy casualties doing so (they are left with one warrior, five thrall, four ghols and a journeyman). Meanwhile, the other armies tangle in the southeast. e.i. wins this battle as well, through nice use of ghols in melee (they get nine kills) and some very damaging pus. The Satanic Army are left wondering what happened.

This game, Evil Inc. start in the northwest and southeast, while SA start in the northeast and southwest. All armies take the same setup. The northwest and northeast armies fight on the north field, the other two armies rushing to their aid and arriving simultaneously just after the fight has started. A confusing, bloody four army melee sees Satanic Army completely trashed.

Both armies send almost all of their army to the center, and a huge battle erupts. Satanic Army's berserks fail to react when e.i. attacks their warriors, and most of the SA warriors fall before the zerks get into the battle. SA lose the melee battle convincingly, and e.i. clean up easily for the win.

e.i. start in the southwest this game, while the Satanic Army start in the northeast. SA sends their zerks to the middle, and e.i. takes a few of them out with their forest giant, which then returns to be healed. SA's zerks retreat from the oncoming Evil Incorporated juggernaut, and SA hole up on their home flag while e.i. split up and take all the flags. At 1:30 remaining, SA realise that they should do something about getting flags, and move to attack the center. e.i. circle around with their forest giant to tag the completely unguarded SA home flag, and it's all over.

SA start in the middle this game, while e.i.'s army starts in the southwest. e.i. send their soulless in two groups of four to the middle, and they torment the SA soulless for quite some time. Meanwhile, SA's army chases e.i.'s warriors in the southeast, thinking they have no thrall backup. e.i.'s thrall emerge from the water to pincer the Satanic Army, and massacre their warriors. However, the SA soulless are taking a heavy toll on their army from behind, which means that e.i. come out of the battle with only three damaged warriors. e.i.'s soulless haven't been idle all this time, and just as the melee battle comes to its conclusion they open fire on the cramped SA soulless, who have nowhere to run. The soulless are quickly cut down to give e.i. the win with 47% remaining.

The Satanic Army had an easy pool in the Qualifying Round, and coming up against some very nasty opposition in the form of Evil Incorporated was a rather brutal wake-up call. Their team basically reels from blow to blow, only occasionally able to get a plan together in the lull between strikes.

Jedi Val says, "Evil Inc totally dominated the game and SA couldn't even come close to stopping us. We look forward to playing AP in Round 2, which will be one of the biggest matches we have ever played.".
