The Myth World Cup ruling council today presided over the Quad-cities warrior teams' mini-tournament, held at Madrigal Yards to decide the final lineup of the Quad-Cities All-Stars that will compete for the Myth World Cup.
The Tyr Protectors triumphed over the Madrigal Freemen, the Scales Stalwarts and the Covenant Campaigners to take home the honours in a series of exciting clashes that packed out the newly constructed 20,000 seat stadium.
This marks the start of the buildup to the Myth World Cup's opening ceremonies in a few days. Butcher, the chairman of the MWC ruling council, said a few words at the conclusion of the matches, noting that registration for up-and-coming teams ends tomorrow on the 10th day of August. He urged competitors far and wide across the globe to look into their hearts, and if they possess the bravery and strength to compete against the world's greatest teams, to submit their registration form today.
This chance will not come again, he said, and those missing their opportunity will rue it until the end of their days.
