The other semi-final was also played this past weekend, between the Clan Plaid Dwarves and Civil Order. The results of the first two games are still under dispute; the Dwarves' infantry was annihilated in both, however they were able to win the match by using their spiders to push a large fraction of the balls out of contesting range of foot troops.

This is a loophole in the rules that I should have covered. I've asked the teams to replay the Raisin Barn games with the additional proviso that balls which cannot be contested by foot troops (i.e. non-spider troops) are ruled to be out of play.
