The Myth World Cup builds to its climax, as we move into the final rounds.
The elimination brackets have brought four teams to the forefront:
- Clan Plaid Dwarves:
The largest unranked order is a sprawling group, and their ten-member brigades
can vary from a joking bunch of friends to a tight-knit army at a moment's
notice. The dwarves share their namesakes' penchant for death, destruction and
swift fury; they stand a good chance of walking away with the Cup.
- Civil Order:
One of the oldest Myth-playing groups, originally
formed by Belgarion back in the days of yore. Still going strong after over
a year of Myth, although the original members have mostly drifted away.
Boasting some formidable players, often-brilliant teamwork, and a rakish
attitude, the Civilians are dangerous foes and potent allies.
- Foundation:
Another long-established order, Foundation have the numbers to deal with
almost any situation, and a penchant for light maps exceeded only by their
fondness for juggernaut-style armies. Their wide base of skills lets them land
on their feet in almost any situation.
- Rabble Forces:
Somewhat of an enigma, it is believed that this group of players was welded
together into a fighting force by Leonidas, after the demise of his previous
order. Their ability to work as a team has been proven in their matches so far,
but in the semi-final (and perhaps the final) they will be coming up against
their toughest opponents so far!
Rules for the semi-finals have been posted on the
rules page, and the
semi-finals begin today. I would like the matches to be played by next weekend
if possible.
