Our frames are constructed from galvanized
steel tubing, galvanized angles and other
galvanized structural components. Our triple
wall construction sandwiches galvanized steel
tubing and a one inch layer of insolation
between a smooth inner wall of electrogalvanized
steel and an outer wall of aluminum. The
fenders are .090 inch thick aluminum and
the one piece seamless roof is a fiberglass
composite. Galvanizing, which is coating steel with
zinc, protects steel from rusting by forming
a protective barrier between the steel and
the environment . The electrochemical coating
oxidizes to protect the steel near it; as
a result, even if a galvanized steel surface
is scratched down to bare steel, the galvanizing
will prevent the steel from rusting. A structure built from galvanized steel will
deflect less (think of a bridge). |
Galvanized steel loses a minimum amount of
strength when welded. The extended life of your trailer is based
on it's ability to withstand the small, cumulative
stresses (fatigue stress ) as it goes down
the road. Galvanized steel has a higher fatigue
strength. Trail-et uses aluminum in the ramps, roof
vents, saddle racks, exterior skin, fenders
and running boards. We use rust free galvanized
steel for the security of a trouble free
frame construction.
Our anodized aluminum finish deserves special
mention it provides corrosion and abrasion
resistance. It controls the natural oxidation
process of aluminum when exposed to the atmosphere.
There is no need to acid wash your trailer
to maintain its like new appearance. One piece fiberglass roof tops
your trailer.

gusset-less rear end decrease wind drag.
Rubber torsion axles,computer-matched to
the operating load, add independent suspension
to minimize shock, sway and bouncing. The exterior aluminum is available in 5 choices.
All models are available in your choice of
prefinished silver, white or black. In addition,
anodized aluminum is available or Trail-et
will custom color match your towing vehicle.
