BECKET
MARY BUCKET or BECKET was born about 1605, probably in England, and died in Dec. of 1676 in Duxbury, Plymouth Co., MA.[1/98]
Mary arrived in Plymouth on the 'Anne' which arrived in Plymouth in July of 1623.[2][3]
Mary married GEORGE SOULE in perhaps 1624 or 1625 at Plymouth.[1/98] He was born about 1595-1600 in England.[ibid] and died before 22 Jan 1680 in Duxbury, Plymouth Co., MA.[ibid] The marriage was never recorded. Banks pointed out that it was established by the fact that George Soule sold the 1 acre of land which had been granted to Mary as a passenger on the Anne. Something that he could only do if he were her husband.[2]
Banks also felt that Mary might be associated with the Parish of St. Botolph, Aldersgate, London.[2] He gives no reason for this conjecture.
