He also lacks the bilateral ridge on his face, which is characteristic of Bolians. At the current time, he is 30 years old. To look at, he seems to be quite menacing, with a flinty stare.

- Background - Childhood: axx's mother was the Bolian ambassador to Andoria, Feyzara. His father Tor'sela was a member of the Andorian military, assigned to the various embassies on Andor. The met at several diplomatic functions, and Tor'sela was so infatuated by Feyzara, that he foreswore all others, and entered into a two-person marriage, as opposed to the usual four person one. Jaxx was born some fifteen months after the wedding. Jaxx spent the majority of his time on Andor, learning to cope with his seeming disability (ie no antennae), and in doing so, seemed to be able to control his passions better than his peers, earning his nickname 'The Iceman'. Whilst on Andoria, he developed a skill for music, playing Andorian Blues. Nothing seems to get him riled, ever. In this respect he seems almost Vulcan in his self control, although he does 'let go' occasionally.
- Background - Academy:Early in his life, he found he had a natural talent for Physics, Maths and Theoretical physics. And, at the age of 17 he joined starfleet, pursuing a career in the sciences. At the Academy, he Majored in Thermodynamics, and Astrophysics. He also studied temporal mechanics.
- Background - Cadet Cruise: It was at the academy he met, and fell in love with T'pel, a Vulcan student in his classes. They served onboard the same vessel, USS Wells, an Oberth class science vessel, during their cadet cruise, both earning commendations for a joint project on an unsual star in the Gryphon system. It's behaviour was erratic, showing symptoms of destabilising, and threatening the outpost there. The two cadet's managed to isolate the problem, and come up with a resolution. They married a year after that, but wedded bliss was not to last. Unfortunately, The Wells was one of the first casualties of the Dominion War. T'Pel was not amongst the survivors. For a time, Jaxx transfered to tactical station aboard his next ship, USS Churchill, serving with distinction, until near the end of the war. He was transferred off of that ship after the battle to retake Bajor. It was one of the only Federation ship's to fight alongside The Romulan Fleet there, and was severely damaged. Jaxx spent six months recovering from injuries incurred, at a Romulan medical facility, where he learn't about Romulan culture, history, and language. He also saw the similarities in Romulan and Vulcan heritage, and began making investigations into various archaeological areas on Romulus during his recovery. As many areas as the Tal'Shiar would let him, anyway! On his return to The Federation, he was awarded The UFP Medal of Valour for his actions aboard The Churchill, which had saved the lives of his commanding officer, Admiral Davies, and sixteen other officers and crew. He was then posted to the USS Intrepid as Science Officer. Other notes: Currently Jaxx is single, and has little time for relationships. He is still mourning his wife.
