Obituary for Mrs. Anna Henry

Mrs Anna Henry, 69, died at her home in Mt. Jewett Sunday, July 8, 1951, after a 10-month illness. Mrs. Henry born in Winterburn, Pa, was the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs. Lewis H. Hicks. She moved here from Hutchins, Pa, last November. The deceased was a member of the Free Methodist Church, Ridgway.

Survivors include her husband, Roy, Mt. Jewett, one son, Harry, of Buffalo, seven daughters, Mrs Dorothy Duttry, Franklin, Mrs Evelyn Walters, Mt Jewett, Mrs Mildred Hoyt, Auburn, N.Y. Mrs Helen Goodrich, Smethport, Pa, Mrs. Anna Mae Gerg Erie, Pa, and Mrs. Mae Wilson, Dubois, three sisters Mrs Grace Rogers, Dubois, Mrs Ella Nelson, Erie, Mrs Mary Spellen, Los Angeles, two brothers, Ray Hicks, Kilpore, Tex, Lewis Hicks, Tonawanda, N.Y., 24 grandchildren and 28 great- grandchildren.

Final rites were held Wednesday afternoon at one o'clock in the Lind home Furneral Home in Mt Jewett, Pa, with the Rev. Dewey Kieffer, pastor of the Free Methodist Church in Ridgway officiating, Interment was in the Penfield Cemetary, Penfield, Penfield Pa.

Grandsons of Mrs Henry were pallbearers, namely, Gary Leach, James Duttry, Dale Walters, Earl Walters, Leo Kane and Robert Clinger.

Rev. Wilbur Jacocks, pastor of the Free Methodist Church at Duck Center conducted the graveside service. Relatives and friends from Erie, Buffalo, Dubois, Smethport, Tonawanda, penfield, Ridgway, carlisle, Franklin and Auburn attended.
