My grandfather--James Joseph HICKS married Elizabeth SIMPSON (b10 Feb 1972)

on 28 Feb 1892 in Shelby County, Ill. She was one of 5 children

(George, Ellen, Clara and ? ) of James Spenser Simpson (b15 Sep 1840 in Illinois) and

Barbara Jones.. -- James Spenser Simpson is the son of James Simpson (b 1807

Liverpool, England) and Ann Iverson (b 1797, England)
