The largest world fair of bakery was held in Duseldorf from May to 8 May 14 1998 with 900 companies from 31 countries participating. Dimitrije Vujadinovic and Marion Fisher, researchers on the program Bread – World Heritage, visited the fair. It was very important that the researchers met the representatives of the organizer of the following fair of bakery to be held in Munich from September 29 to October 10 2000. The representatives were delighted to learn about the program Bread - World Heritage, especially because the motto of the Munich fair is “six thousand years of bread”. It was agreed to establish relations and initiate negotiations concerning possible cooperation. The plan Munich  2000 working out a two-year strategy of participation in the Munich World Fair of Bakery is to be completed by the end of 1998.
