From Miss Josh Emmett: Mac goes back to his 'past', when his college sweetheart calls him for help. (In a couple of flashbacks and a yearbook, we find out how Mac started his lifestyle and lost his big love.) Mac, Amy and Tim were the officers of the Science Club, and when Mac left to roam, Amy and Tim stayed and got their degrees and then went to work for the newly built nuclear plant in town. You could tell that Tim ended up in the trouble he was in, because Mac was the only person to ever bring any excitement in his life, and he was bored. As for Robert: he's a minion in the company (never advancing, being overlooked), falls in with the bad crowd, is rescued by a man and woman, and joins forces with them to fight on their side. Gee...does this sound familiar? As this is the first season of MacGyver and the second season of V, I think the casting dept. took one look at the script, and said: We need Willie! So, they hired the original! (Just my opinion.) Robert plays it to the hilt, but without all the great little lines Willie got each week. |
