Josh says: Marc
played Johnny Capture, a boxer with an old guy for a manager and a kid
who admired him. It was a pilot movie for TV, and the series was
never sold. It was the best haircut he's had... loved it. It
was like
the 'The Kid' movie, but no market for it at the time. |

MacraTerr says: If
I remember correctly, he was an oil driller who Pam falls for. (Unfortunately
for Singer, his character was part of the season that turned out to all
be a dream!) |

Margie comments:
Victor Newman was in a plane crash and was rescued by the Chet, who took
Victor to his mountain cabin after the crash. Thanks also to Bea
for mentioning this as well. More information on this role has been
received from Nina: Marc plays a
luddite hermit. In Marc's final appearance, Chet fell from a cliff.
When Victor Newman reached out a hand to help him, Chet deliberately let
go of the outcropping he was hanging on to, falling to his... death?

Comments: |
Above average instalment of the weekly series. Marc plays
Ed, an injured retired ballplayer who is given a Monty Hanks baseball card.
Monty was injured in a game in 1910 and never regained consciousness.
Ed is magically able to travel between the world of the card, where he
*is* Monty Hanks, and his own dismal home life. Well acted by Marc
and young Amber Lea Weston. |

Comments: |
Peter Kerry disappeared more than 20 years before. Now Danny
(Michael Beck) believes that he's found the missing man, who is heir to
millions. Marc Singer plays Rick Barton, who lost his memory in a
car crash and willingly goes along with Danny's devious plan. When
Danny is murdered, however, Rick must reveal all to prove himself innocent
of the crime. Then a little more research is done, and guess who
Rick Barton turns out to be? A little "V" reunion here too, as Lane
Smith (Nathan Bates) also appears in this episode! |

Comments: |
Jennifer says: Marc
was another "Immortal" who had been living the life of a mountain man for
several hundred years. He was there after having lost his wife to
a disease...what type is unknown. He has "adopted" a son, I think
his character either found him after an accident or had something to do
with the boys parents demise. Anyway, he comes face to face with
Duncan Macleod's then girlfriend, and he kidnaps her. Macleod goes
searching for his lover and comes into contact with Marc's character Caleb.
They lead a chase through the woods, and then battle it out in a creek.
As always, Duncan saves the day and poor Marc loses his head and the gathering.
Oh well....Marc did a fabulous job on this one and I can even say, as much
as I'm attracted to Marc, I would never want to meet up with Caleb in some
dark alley! He was kinda scary looking in this one! |

"Batman: the Animated Series" |
|
Character: |
Dr. Kirk Langstrom/Man-Bat (voice) |

"Terror In The Sky" (aired November 12-92) |
|
Stars of Show: |

Comments: |
Charles says: Very well done,
keeping with the trend on Batman of hiring 'name' actors for an episode
or two. Strangely enough, "On Leather Wings" was chosen as one of
the few episodes Fox showed in prime time in an attempt to show people
that this Batman wasn't just for kids. Charles also filled me in
on the plotline of the two shows. In "On Leather Wings", Dr. Kirk
Langstrom was experimenting with bat mutigene; when he tested the serum
he'd invented on himself, he became the vicious Man-Bat, described as a
human-sized bat with legs. By the end of the episode, he is cured
by Batman. In "Terror In The Sky", Dr. Langstrom's wife becomes the
Man-Bat, and is also cured by Batman. |
