V: The Series -- The Characters

"Robin Maxwell"

Robin MaxwellRobin was a high school student at the time of the First Invasion.  She became infatuated with Brian, a Visitor youth leader.  When Robin was picked up during a Visitor sweep, Diana manipulated Brian's genetic code and had Brian impregnate her.  Robin gave birth to twins: Elizabeth, who looks human in appearance but who has amazing psychic abilities; and a male child, who was reptilian in appearance and who died shortly after birth.  Julie was able to use the DNA information she attained from the child to develop the red dust toxin.
Robin became a devoted mother to Elizabeth.  They lived together on her father's ranch until Robert Maxwell's death during the Second Invasion.  Robin was briefly held by the Visitors in one of their Internment Camps, but managed to escaped with Mike Donovan and Ham Tyler.  She roomed briefly with Kyle Bates, with whom she became infatuated, before being reunited with Elizabeth.  After a second Visitor attempt to impregnate her, Robin fled Los Angeles, escorted by Ham Tyler and Chris Faber, for the relative safety of Chicago.

The V Files "Character Profile"
"Robin Maxwell"

Robin is 21 years old and grew up in a well-to-do home.  Her father was a successful scientist who never had much time for his family.  As a result, Robin would look for affection from anyone who pointed their attentions in her direction.  Being that she was rather attractive, she racked up a lot of points.  But none of her boyfriends ever hung around very long, or were the kind who would form a meaningful relationship even if they did.   Robin was looking for someone who could mean something more to her.

Unbeknownst to her, the Visitors had been planning to mate on of their race with a human female, whose chromosomes were of a unique alignment that would accept the alien DNA chains.  Special scanning equipment revealed that Robin's body chemistry could produce a successful human/alien mating.

Diana chose Brian (Br'n) to carry out the experiment.  As on of the Visitors assigned to Robin's neighbourhood, it was not difficult for him to befriend and strike up a relationship with her.

Then all hell broke loose as the "scientists conspiracy" against the Visitors was revealed and martial law was imposed, with scientists being rounded up "on suspicion".  Robin and her family hid in a neighbour's pool house.  But they were turned in and, in order to protect his family, Robin's father became a turncoat, supplying the visitors with information on the movements of the Resistance.

Although the Visitors would have like to have kept Robin under careful observation, she escaped from her captors.  Back with the Resistance, she learned that she was pregnant.  By this time, she knew that Brian was not human.

Robin wanted an abortion, but it was deemed too dangerous to her health because the pregnancy was advancing at an accelerated rate. When she did give birth, the baby looked at first to be a normal human girl -- that proceeded to hiss and exhibit a long, forked tongue.  Then a second baby was born, but it died quickly.  (Note: See Elizabeth Maxwell for further details on the human/alien child.)

Robin wandered off, leaving the child with her father.  By the time she got back, Elizabeth's growth had accelerated even further.  Robin's father had been killed in a kamikaze attack against the aliens.

Robin managed to fall in love with Kyle Bates, not knowing that Kyle was in love with Robin's daughter, who was already mature.  When Robin learned the truth, she was devastated.

She stayed with the Resistance and by chance was in a store with the Visitors took everyone prisoner and threatened to kill them unless Mike Donovan surrendered.  She was befriended by a young fellow prisoner who became infatuated with her.  Before the young man could complete his seduction of her, Robin learned that he was really another alien given the assignment of impregnating her again so the Visitors could create another Starchild that this time they would control.

When her would-be seducer was killed, she realizes that things haven't been good for her in LA and decided to go off to Chicago with Ham Tyler.
