Comments
To Conquer The Throne is a complete waste of time.  I'm still skimming through it as opposed to deeply reading it because it reads as LAME as the worst of the TV episodes.  The characters hop and change how they act with a flick of a page.  They are completely unbelievable.  The situations are useless.  Even the Visitor commanders (Medea and Beverly) are an EXAGGERATED version of Diana and Lydia.  The writing is trite and the situations pathetically
useless.  I can't believe I'm still wasting time on it but I guess I'm a glutton for punishment.

Trash.  That's the only way to sum it up.  Gabriela, who's engaged to marry a KEY person in the Resistance (although SHE didn't know he was!  duh!) goes from shy, scared, little mouse to a John-Carter-I'm-Gonna-Kick-Butt
character.  In about 2 pages.  Yeah.  OK.  It's a truly horrible read.

Memorable Moments
Apparently... none!

The Back of the Book
"The alien Visitors, under their sadistic commander, Medea, plot to seize Great Britain as a launching pad for the
conquest of Earth.  Parliament has been infiltrated, and the most hallowed shrines of democracy are about to be desecrated.  Gabriela Nicks, an American living in England, forced to join a Resistance that is fragmented
and possibly infiltrated by the enemy, races to rally the fighters of Earth for one desperate strike that may save the world, and all hope rides with a small force facing insurmountable odds and sure defeat"
