The King of Sages by Zucatt the sage king The Coming of Zucatt Link looked out blankly over the land. But, more into the sky than land. There was a slight chill in the air. "Link! oh Link!" Someone approached him. Link turned around. It was his dear friend, Zelda."What are you doing out here? It's time for dinner." There's a chill in the air." " Well it is fall." " No I mean an eerie chill. Like someone, or THING, is coming." " Do you think it could be Ganon?" she asked with grave fear in her voice. "No, it isn't Ganon. But it is someone powerful." "Good or evil?" "I can't really tell, but I know one thing, they're on their way!" 200 MILES AWAY IN A LAND CALLED DORMANGUS "Whooba!" a woman calls out for her son."Whooba, she naka hus, ton!" (translated from dormangian; believe me, it's very confusing) She walks up and holds her son. She grins, but the boy is awestruck by something in the sky. The mother turns and sees a humongous floating mountain, with, what looks like a castle of solid gold on it. The mother faints, but the boy watches the magical sight 'till it disappears. HYRULE, LAND OF THE TRIFORCE Zelda awoke with a jerk. Something was a miss. She put on her robe and went to Link's room. Not there. She ran to Impa, her nursemaid's room. She was not there. Suddenly she heard a great rucuss coming from the courtyard and balcony's. She hurried to the balcony to see Link , the royal family and entire town looking at the horizon in fear/wonderment. "What is it?" She inquired to Link. Without a word Link raised his arm and pointed to Lake Hylia. She didn't understand. All she saw was the lake and the mountain. Wait a minute. There never has been a mountain behind Lake Hylia! Quickly she through her glance back toward Lake Hylia. The mountain was moving! Soon enough the floating mountain revealed it's magnificent castle. It gleamed in the dawning sun, gleaming like sapphire. The castle glided over the lake's ridges and set a hovering stop on top of Lake Hylia. From the front gates, a row of great, golden, floating steps flew down to the lands edge to form a perfect staircase. This had all taken altogether, approximately 45 minutes so the guards and royal family had rode to the lake to investigate the situation. Many of the people had followed, either on horse or foot, to see as well. About as soon as the crowd had assembled, 10 guards of this foriegn kingdom, came forward. They ressembled centaurs, but were more like cent-griffens. As they flew down on wings and landed on floating disks; an even larger figure came into the light. If this was there leader, he had right to be. While the others were an impressive 7-feet tall, HE was 10-feet tall. He holdered a golden trident, instead of spear, like the others, and was more of a human than centaur. His helmet was pierced by two rams horns, which appeared to be real. The biggest surprise was yet to come. "Heed my call, mortal beings! I am Gogoroth, head guard, of the legion, of his majesty's army and defense. Bow down before his highest of high! His mightiest of mighty! His bravest of brave! The goddly King of the Sages, King Zucatt!" At this all the villagers and even a few of the royal family) fell to there knees. But princess Zelda looked head on for a view of this great king. And what she saw, shocked her more than the sight of the face of Ganon. After all this great showboating, all that came forth was a boy the same age as she. He was dressed royaly, though. His garments were of a beautiful purple and red, and were laced with gold. The outfit looked oriental, but the man was clearly of regular human race. His hair was short and trimmed. All-in-all he wasn't too bad looking...for a human, not a great king. Zelda felt compelled to laugh. Infact, she did. A short giggle escaped her mouth and she threw her hand over her mouth. But, to no avail. Another, muffled, laugh came from her mouth. The guard looked down at her angrily, and grumbled towards the king. "It seems a showing of your power is in order my lord." "I suppose you are right Gogoroth." At this he raised his arms and bellowed toward the sky. "Here me great lake, and obey my commands! Arise and dance before me and my court!" At this the water flew right out of the lake and into the sky. Zucatt began to wave his hands vigorously. The water shifted into two forms; finally visible as dragons. These forms dove at each other and clashed. Each claw swipe hit off some water onto bystanders. Eventually, Zucatt voiced enough and the two instantly melted and rained back into the lake. This soaked all the villagers and most of the Royal Family. The guard, now looking at the partially wet Zelda in glee, tapped his trident three times on the ground (of the floating isle or mountain) and a yellow disk of energy formed. Gogoroth stepped onboard and Zucatt followed suit. Each guard bowed with therepassing, then followed them downward. Zucatt stepped down and walked toward princess Zelda. "And do I have the pleasure of adressing the beautiful princess Zelda of Hyrule?" Zucatt kissed her hand gently. By this, Zelda was quite flattered and curtsead. "Why yes you do...um, your highness." King Zucatt will do my dear. Link, feeling jealous, shoved his way into the conversation. "And I am Link per..." "...sonal bodyguard to Princess Zelda, also Legendary hero of Hyrule yes I know. You are quite a marvel." "How do you know me?" "I am the propheted king of sages. I know everything." "Oh." "Let us go to your castle." "Alright, you are welcome in my coach, King?" "Zucatt, and you are more welcome in MY coach." At this he gestured his floating castle. "Well thank you." Zelda was able to sputter out. Zucatt turned to the crowd. "And your people are welcome as well. To join us for a great feast and festival." At this the crowd cheered and the guards ushered them in. While princess Zelda and her family went up the stairs, Zucatt pulled Link to the side. "I would greatly like to address you and Princess Zelda alone later, about an advancing evil." "W-What!?!?" chapter 1 An event has taken place in Hyrule this day. The Sage King, Zucatt, has made himself known to the people. In honor of his arrival, he is throwing a large banquet and festival inside his palace: The Floating Isle. But, this day comes not for amusement, but for assistance, in a coming evil. Inside the King's palace A great banquet hall has been filled with all the people of Hyrule castle. On the way to the castle, the floating ship stopped to collect more guests. The Kokiri tribe; King Zora and a few of his advisors, the Goron race and their king Link (the son of Daraunia); and even the current leader of the Gerudo thieves, with her second in command. When all had gathered in the hall, and seated at their respected places, Zucatt held his glass for a toast. "Good people of Hyrule, A toast to my return. Long ago I left to handle foreign things. The races grew far apart and wars broke out. Many a hardships be fell this beautiful land." He placed his hand on Link's shoulder. "But, thanks to the heroics of this man, the land was saved and preserved. To the hero of Hyrule!" The hall court echoed his voice. " To the hero of Hyrule!" And all drank. "Now let the festivities begin!" Zucatt clamped his hands and rows of waiters came and served them, with platters of roasts and fine wines and many delicious dishes. After this Zucatt showed more of his magic, but these were merely parlor tricks for entertainment. After this all retired to rooms for them. In the morn the floating Isle arrived at Hyrule castle. All were up to see a magnificent sight. Zucatt landed the Isle ontop the Castle, merging them into one gigantic kingdom. The town was four times as large as it had been and with many new buildings and things to see. The castle towers now rose three times higher and the armory was stocked with weapons never seen before. It was a wondrous sight. All now left the Golden Castle (as it came to be known) to return to their new homes and new jobs offered by Zucatt. But all was not merry, in the kingdom. Zucatt had called a meeting in the chamber of sages, now located in the Tower of Time. Inside the Chamber of Sages All were seated around a table, with the sages seated in their respective spots. Zucatt's seat was of solid gold, and the cushions of silk and goose feather. Seated before his fellow sages and rulers of Hyrule, (with Zelda on his right and Link on his left) Zucatt began to speak. "My friends, I come back not for celebration, but to trumpet the arrival of a great evil." Link asked what all had been fearing. "Ganon?" "No, not Ganon." To this all, but the Gerudos breathed a sigh of relief. "It is someone more powerful than Ganon." This astonished everyone. Even the sages. Zelda asked with disbelief, "Who could be more powerful than Ganon?" Zucatt made a joke. "Well me for one." No one laughed. "Uh, ha-ha?" The Gerudo Queen was angered."Damn you. who is it!" "Alright, his name is Harvus." The sages all gasped. They could not believe it. "Harvus?" he said. "Here?" another. "No not her,but soon." Link did not understand. "Who is Harvus?" All the sages looked at him as he had donkey ears. But, Zucatt explained. "Harvus is a god." "THE god, of evil." "I don't understand," Zelda inquired "I only know of the three goddess', Din of Power, Nayru of Wisdom and Farore of Courage." All the beings nodded in agreement. "They are of, but a few of the gods." "What is he coming for?" The Zora King asked. "He is coming for the Triforce." Link sighed in anger. "Jeez, how many people want this thing?" "He does not want it for power." This silenced the others."He wants it for his own experimentation." "What!?!" "He was not happy when the godess' left the Triforce behind. He made his own piece of the Triforce to fit in the empty center. He believes that the Triforce should be whole. But,..." Link intervened, "Why is there always a but?" "But, if he places his piece in the Triforce, it will corrupt the Triforce and destruction will sweep the land; eventually destroying what the goddess' built." All were silent at this thought. "That is why I have come. I have come to seek the aid of Hyrule and its people to stop Harvus from reaching the Triforce!" "A war?" Ruto, the Sage of Water asked. "No a quest. I, Princess Zelda, Link and four of this lands best warriors; will venture forth to find Harvus and stop him at all costs." Zucatt told the people to each go back to their people and choose their best warrior to accompany them on them on the journey. Zucatt caught Link on his way back to his chambers. "Link," he called out "I wanted to ask you something." "Yes?" Link asked. "Do you love, Zelda? I mean I know you care deeply for her, but, do you love her?" This deeply questioned, what Link had been wondering himself for the past few days."Well," He began."We do share a great link, both telepathically and emotionally, but... I suppose not, no, we do not." "Well, that's good to know." "Why's that King Zucatt?" "Just Zucatt will do Link." "Oh, why's that Zucatt?" "Because I do love her!" chapter 2 While all the people in Hyrule would usually be asleep, many are still awake, busy with activity. The legendary hero of Hyrule, Link up polishing his sword and shield; The princess, Zelda, up practicing her marksanship, for it has been long since real combat; many races and people of Hyrule, up training and being tested; and Zucatt, the king of sages, the leader of leaders, who knows that these lives that he holds in his hands, are to be taken away from him, by prophecy. The Dawn All in Hyrule, from the withering eldest, to the newborn youngest, are out to see there heroes out. Zucatt is sad today, for he knows already that these brave heroes will not return. And, there is nye he can do for them. Zucatt's servants enter with his battlements. A dull-gold suit of armor, with a high collar; a crimson cape for warmth AND invisibility; a long sword of magic stone, to wield; and his sack of spellments. "Ready for the day my lord?" a small one asked. Zucatt smiled at the child and placed his hand on it's shoulder "Of course." Zucatt headed out to the now larger and more varitable stables. Gogoroth stood next to his master's horse's stall. He kneels and bows with sorry. He too, knew of the tradegy to occur on this trip. "Your stead, Sheik, my lord." "Sheik, for whom Zucatt knows.....that guy from Zelda64! Sheesh!) "Thank you old friend, come Sheik." As Zucatt leaves, with reins in hands, Gogoroth mutters a quite prayer for his master. "Go now, my king, and win the battle." Waiting for Zucatt, in the courtyard, was Link and Zelda. Link, was, of course the Hyrulians choice for a warrior. With him he had all his weapons. Except his bow, Deku shield, and Silver scale; which he gave to Zelda. Wearing the same thing he wore when he fought Ganon, he had his famous battle smile on. Zelda looked very awkward for her princess status. She was wearing knee-high leather boots, dark pink pants, a blue vest and purple blouse. She too, had a smile on her face. But, it was more sorrowful and hollow. Being a telepath, she knew that there was to be great tragedy on this journey. But, Zucatt, being a sage, could keep her out of his head with ease. She walked up to Zucatt and asked him a question that he knew he could not say to, but wished he could. "Are you ready, your highness?" She looked into his eyes with a burning gaze. It seemed like eternity until Zucatt answered. "Yes." His voice was barely above a whisper. Outside the Golden Castle The respective families and races had gathered to bid farewell to their heroes. Each giving a word or gift of praise. The Gerudo thieves were out to see off their best warrior. The Queen spoke to the girl."Circe, for most of your life you have held the rank of average thief, it is time to move forward." She held out a dagger carved out of solid obsidian, encrusted with dark jewels."Now Circe, arise sorceress Circe! And lead the Gerudos to victory!" All the Gerudo women hooted and holwed in excitement. Circe mounted her horse and trotted in line with king Zucatt, princess Zelda and Link. The Zoras' choice was Suner, the diving instructor, whom Link had met seven years ago. Given to him by the Zora king was the only blue ice chunk ever found within the Zoras' domain. With this magical ice chunk Suner could harness energy blades from his fins and stay moisterised. "Take this and let the waters guide you, Zora!" All the Zora's gurgled in cheer. Even odder was when Suner mounted an actual flying fish! He hovered over in line next to Circe. "Hmph!" She said, laughing at his "steed." The Kokiri's choice was Time. (that's pronouced "timmy" following the music scale theme.EX. Mido. Mi-Do) Earlier, in an extravagant ceremony in Kokiri forest, Link gave Time all the possesions he had used as a child. The Kokiri sword; a specially-crafted Hyrulian shield, small enough, but strong enough for a Kokiri, his fairy slingshot, and finally, Link's boomerang.(retrieved AGAIN from Lord Jabu-Jabu's stomach, this time by the Zoras.) Time hopped aboard his pony (given to him by the castle's stables) and rode in behind Circe. Finally the Goron's choice was Mason, the giant goron that repaired Link's broken Goron sword. Link, son of Daurania the sage of fire, gave Mason a piece of hardened lave, from the crater of Death Mt."Take this magical piece of lava, and may it's fire's keep you warm." It truly was magical, for on the outside it was hard as a rock, but on the inside it was molten and gave off a glow. Mason didn't even ride a horse, he just curled into a rock and rolled. Link walked up to his old acqaintence and handed him something. "Here, you deserve this more than me." "The Megaton Hammer! Thank you brother Link!" When Link had gotten back on his horse, Zucatt raised his sword in the air, reared his horse and commanded, "Let the trek, BEGIN!!!" All the people cheered in excitement, waving good-bye to their valiant heroes.(is that the ten-millionth time of said that or what!) The band rode on towards Lake Hylia. Lake Hylia The professer, that had a lab around Lake Hylia, came out to greet them. "Ah, so these are the chosen ones, eh? Well as a parting gift, I give to each of you a special potion of my own design. Smash it on the ground and it will create a scent that only the bearer can you bear. Farewell!" Circe looked at the potion in disgust, and yelled back to the scientist,"Foolish man! I need not a potion! I have my own stealth!" And with this she hurled the bottle over her shoulder, causing the scientist to gag and cough from the smoke. Upon approaching the water's edge, Zucatt raised his arms and summoned up the water to form stairs. Zelda turned to Link. "He seems very powerful. Even more so than Ganon!" Link was starting to realize that Zelda, might be starting to like Zucatt back. "Oh yes, quite," Link said with sarcasm. Zucatt led Sheik onto the "water"-case to test it. Sheik pressed his hoove onto the step and it rippled a little, but held. Zucatt turned to the others."It may splash a little, but it's okay. Bring 'em on!" As the band was about to cross the stairs and ride down the other side, of the high ridges of Lake Hylia, something swooped down out of the sky. Link withdrew his bow and prepared to fire, but stopped when he heard a familiar voice. "Ho, Link! Am I not still your friendly guide?" It was the Great Owl that had helped Link, when he was young. "Hello there Great Owl!" Link yelled out. "I heard you would be travelling beyond the boundaries of Hyrule, so I made you this!" The owl handed Link a piece of paper. Zelda took it to look at. "Why it's a map of the surrounding areas!" Zucatt looked up to the creature. "Thank you Great Owl! Will you see us to the edge of Hyrule?" "Of course my king!" And he lead them up the stairs. The Border between Hyrule and the Foresaken Lands "Thank Great Owl!" Link yelled up to the owl. "Think nothing of it Link! And good luck!" The band waved good-bye to the owl (all except the unemotional Circe) and preceded into the Foresaken Lands The Weathered Plains The crew had not been journeying long until they came to a fork. Zelda took out the map. "If we head left, into Garwould Forest, we encounter Moblins and Stalfos and Keese." "Oh my!" Zucatt joked. No one laughed. "If we cut around we have a shorter path, and there aren't any monsters..." Circe jumped in,"Then we go right!" She said in a commanding voice. Zucatt looked at her in a killing glance. She had forgotten who lead this quest. Zelda continued, "No monsters, just dragons." This hit the heroes hard. They knew that even with more monsters, the forest was the safest way to go so the only possible direction was..."We go right." Zucatt said in a defiant voice. All were stunned he had said that, but when he rode his horse that way they knew he wasn't kidding. For a while things were fine. Then, along came a dragon. The dragon swooped down towards Zelda. She tried to knock an arrow in time, but the dragon had snatched her up. Link had taken the rear, and was galloping toward her, but only Zucatt could save her in time. He took out his bow, and then a small little stick that, when pulled back, became an arrow of green energy. Zucatt had a clean shot to take it down, but he hesitated. The dragon flew high and off towards it' nest. Link stopped a minute and yelled at Zucatt,"Why did you hesitate! That thing is going to feed her to her young!" the he turned Epona and galloped off to save the princess. Zucatt looked down in sadness. He was sorry he had to do it. But, their lives decided the fate of the battle. He knew that Link would save her, but he also knew that if they stayed they would die, with the rest of the adventurers. 'Move on." Zucatt commanded the heroes. Mason interrupted." But, shouldn't we go after the..." "I said MOVE ON!" Mason shut up. He knew not to anger such a powerful being. chapter 3 In a daring move, Zucatt, King of the Sages, has saved the lives of Link and Princess Zelda. But in doing so, the rest of these valiant adventurers have grown suspicious of this character. They dare not uprise, however, against such a powerful being. But tonight, a small, desperate attempt at safety is put into action. Night, Deep in Garwould Forest All but a few cheeping Keese are silent and sleeping. Time, a meek being, is sleeping softly. His chest gently rising and falling like a newborn's, able to stop at any moment. Mason is sleeping loudly, his snores deep inside his stomach, rumbling like an eternal volcano. Daph is sleeping not so well, for even with his magic ice chunk keeping him moist, his feels figity and is unable to get comfortable. Circe sleeps not at all. She is awake, and is slowly creeping toward the king. The closer she edges, the more she hopes he does not wake. she thinks. Closer, and closer, and closer, then she drives the blade through his chest -"Having trouble sleeping I see Circe?" Everything had happened so fast, it took Circe a while to gather everything. She had driven her blade with flawless prowess. But, before she even blinked Zucatt's hand had slapped up and held her forearm tightly and firmly."Maybe it was the roots Time had gathered for our dinner?" "I...I..." "Or perhaps it was pre-war jitters?" "i...i..." "But I don't think this sort of thing would drive a person to murder." "But, perhaps maybe your leader not saving a life so easily, THAT could drive a person to murder." "Ithink she is merely reacting to the situation as we all have." said Mason, now awake,(not really since they were all awake, but too scared to act) "but perhaps a little too drastically." He said, looking down at the black dagger in her hand. She "hmphed!" him, then went back to her bed/leaf mat. "Maybe she was merely thinking the same thing we all were." said Time, chiming into the council. Zucatt sighed. "Perhaps it is time you know the truth then." All eyes looked queerly at Zucatt. They thought they had been told everything, but obviously not. "As you know, our mission is to stop Harvus from reaching Golden Castle at all costs. But what you have not been told is that some of this quest has been prophecised." All looked at him with stunned faces. "Well, actually most of it has been prophecised. But what I could not tell you was that all heroes, except myself, Princess Zelda, and Link are to die on the day of eternal darkness." Expecting "whats!?!" and even louder and more profanic "whats!?!" to follow, Zucatt plugged his ears and squeezed his face tight and.....nothing happened. Looking around he saw all their faces had a look of stupidity on them. "What are you all gawking at didn't you just here what I sai...oh, I see, the day of eternal darkness is the day we storm Harvus' fortress." The faces scowled a little. " Three days, people, three days!!!" This jolted the heroes quite a bit. Now, I COULD go into the quarrelling, but I won't. Let's just say that there was alot to talk about and alot to fight about m'kay? The Next Day By morning, all had gotten the night out of their systems. All were mounted and ready for the day, though others hoped they could alter prophecy and live through the day, and Zucatt somewhat believed that they might just pull it off. "Onward heroes! To-ward our destinies!" Sheik reared back and all galloped off at full speed. (Or in Daph and Mason's case, flew and rolled). Now let's check on our other heroes, Zelda and Link. Well, let's see, Zelda's crying and Link is comforting her. "Oh, poor Impa! (Zelda's horse's name) I can't believe we fed her to those baby dragons!" "It was the only way, those dragons would have ripped you apart!" This made Zelda cry even more and Link knew he had really slipped up. After Zelda's eyes had dried (which took a while) Zelda asked Link what they would do now. "Well, if we can catch up to the band on Epona, rationing our food, then we should catch up in three days." "What will we do then?" Zelda asked. "Get back at Zucatt!" Uh-oh, looks like our boy Zucatt is in for trouble! Two Days Later at Harvus' Fortress "Well, here we are crew." Zucatt said to his band. "Best make camp and strategize for tomorrow!" he said cheerfully, starting to get off his horse. Circe grabbed him him by the collar, and jerked him up to her. "Oh no you don't! We do this right now! Today is the day of eternal darkness!" Zucatt tried to prolong these heroes death for a little longer. "Are you kidding? This sunshine could last all day!" he said, raising his free arm to show her. Suddenly the entire sky went black. Zucatt looked at his soldiers, and they nodded in agreement. The crew moved slowly up the side of the pyramid like fortress. Zucatt instructed Mason to strike his Megaton Hammer against the side of the complex. Mason smiled, he was ready for some pounding. Right when Mason raised his arms high and let out a Goron war cry, Zucatt dove his sword into the slope. "Everyone, grab on for support!" Mason slammed the hammer and it truly did shake the entire castle. While the men did somewhat fall, they quickly regained themselves and started to converge on Mason. Daph used his magic ice to create a sheet of ice under the men's feet, sending them sliding down the slope. Mason helped everyone onto the terrace. Walking around they encountered a few morw guards which Circe blew away with some energy magic. Finding a solid stone door, they hoped to blast it open with bomb or magic, but Mason merely pushed them aside. Feeling for the edges, he gave the door one good slam and it slid open. He beckoned the others first. Time pushed his way to the front and found himself dropping quite a ways to a misty, dark chamber. All the others followed, and soon they heard great movement in the room. From the ceiling dropped a few small gohmas. Then a fewmore, and more. Soon there were twenty-one in all. All had their weapons drawn, ready to chop the insects to pieces. Then the gohmas pulled a fast one. One would jump on top of two others and started to mutate them together. Soon there were seven LARGE gohmas in the room!"Get that door behind us opened! I'll hold them off!" said Time, his people having experience with gohmas. Mason, with great effort, held the door over his shoulders. "Hurry! I can't hold it for long!" All, but Time rushed through, the small kokiri making sure his comrades were safe first. Slowly he made his way back towards the door. Suddenly, two gohmas hanging from the ceiling, jumped down and surprised Mason into falling onto his back and the door slamming shut. "Oh, Time, poor, poor Time." This was surprisingly said by Circe, for once showing emotion for one of her comrades. "Come on, we have to keep going. " The saddened group tredged onward. The next room was smaller, with a pool in the middle. Suddenly a gigantic octorok grabbed Circe. She killed it with a ball of energy, but was already drowning form the weight of the tentacle, still wrapped around her body. Daph dove in and cut her lose, but six more, smaller octoroks came and dragged them towards their doom. "We have to do something!" cried Mason, but four more octorok appeared, and started shooting pellets at them. "Next room, move!" yelled Zucatt, taking out his shield. The next room had a high ceiling, with many carved murals on the walls. But there was something odd about them. Suddenly 15 stalfos knights jumped out of the murals with shields and bent swords waving. Mason used his magma jewel to form flamming gauntlets about his arms. These he stabbed the stalfos with, until all but two remained. "I have feeling that large mural on the wall is fake to." said Zucatt "I agree." said a large booming voice. From the wall came a stalfos bigger than Mason. "I am Dreadknight, second in command to Harvus' troops." "I'll fend him off. You head for the door." said Mason. "But Mason-" "Just do it!" Mason fought hardly against Dreadknight. But even though Zucatt was knocked through the door and his shield shattered by Dreadknight's ball and chain, he could still hear the out come. Both warriors, had lost. Now by this time, Link and Zelda had caught up to the group and followed their trail. Mason was so surprised to see him he was knocked hard by Dreadknight. Link let out a angered cyr and shot Dreadknight with a light arrow blinding him, then a fire arrow killing him. With a last gasp, Mason told Zelda and Link why Zucatt had left them behind. In Harvus' Throne Room Looking around there was nothing to be seen, but Zucatt knew Harvus' tricks. "You look as if you have done well for yourself." He said jokingly, for the room was very drab. "You have come I see, Zucatt; but your powwer cannot match mine." A large claw suddenly appeared and sent a flash at Zucatt's sword. In an instant it was turned into a normal walking stick. "How will you defeat me now, oh great EX-GOD!!!" Suddenly Harvus appeared with horns and long lower fangs. He spread his cape open and about a hundred Keese flew out at Zucatt. Slowly they grew into Harpies. But Zucatt stood strong, and sent a bright flash at the harpies, destroying them. "Even though I fell from the heavens, I am still omnipitent." "But face me alone you cannot! Hero!" "But with my help he can!!!" Link was standing behind Zucatt. "And what will you do, little man?" Harvus hissed. "It is not I you should fear, but this!" With that he pulled out the master sword, and a small griomace came across Harvus' face. "This sword was made to strike against ALL evil! And you are the embodiment of evil, Cry Havok! And let loose the dogs of war!!!" Catapulted by Zelda's mind. Link prepared to lunge his sword into the evil dark lord. But evil has power too. Harvus blew a mighty magic beam at Link, one that could destroy him. But Zucatt protected Link with his own magic, and Link killed the dark lord in a quick plunge. A bright light filled the room and for several hours the heroes were blacked out. Later in the Dark Temple When all were awakened, many a questioned were asked. "So you were once a god?" "Yes, but I once intervened in mortal affairs so I was banished to earth. "But let us return home and save the questions for another day. And so the heroes leave the temple, hand in hand. But one small thing they forget. A shining thing under neath the few ashes and cloth of the dark lord. A lone moblin lifts the sheet. "HHAARRRGGHH!!!!!" it screams, as it is blinded in a bright flash. And it is gone. In it's place a right- side up triangle of gold rotates in it's place. THE END?
