It's in standard tuning eBGDAE (high to low), and it sounds like Johnny's just playin' a cheap electric of some sort, probably a strat. Then John does his little solo... it's a pretty simple solo but I dont want to type it out now... if you desperately need it then send me a NICE, FRIENDLY email, and ask politely =) If you dont want to bug me, then just improvise a little in D minor, it'll probably sound better anyway. That's it, pretty simple. The hardest part is getting the right rhythm for the high notes and the bass notes.
