Seara: First, are there any here who don't know where Gigean's lair is? Any who are not wizards can't enter. For those who
are can enter through the Mileth sgath pit.
The location is in the entrance to Mileth crypt.
One of the many questions asked of me is of what is is your IQ. Your IQ must be as high as 25 befor you can even learn
necromancy. You can't see it... You are either smart enough or not.. Visit Gigean and he will let ya know.
The gargoyle fiend skulls are for the wizards for those who have necromancy now.
The religions. To be a necromancer you are restricted to Sgrios, Ceannladir and
Fiosachd. You may have to sacrifice your current god if your desire to be a necromancer is stronger
then your faith. As for any drawbacks.. I see none *cackles and summons*
Baelon: I have a question: Ive often seen necromancers summoning but are there any other benefits? Can it be utilized
on the battlefield?
Seara: well, aye, they help you in battle, though few use them for such.
Faso: What is their primary use, if not fighting?
Seara: *cackles* For summoning? They are great entertainment for us hags. I summon all the time just for sheer thrill.
Now, about summoning your insight determines which creature
you summon. A ghast skull summons skeleton warrrior for 25th or higher, insight and 50 insight plus for greater skeleton
warrior and gargoyle skulls bring forth a more powerful skeleton warrior, at insight 75 or above. Note that any skull
can be used, the primary determiner in summoning is the insight
of the caster. A master can drop a ghast skull, but the best he or she will get is skeletal warriors.
Now for the Eithich items the "fake" items these are items used to "fake" the real items I just spoke of. Before I discuss
this there is a danger: one in 50 chance of of each cast that the caster will be "harmed" using these items there is also a
greater chance of a failed summons. I have lost up to two
strength in using fake items. I highly recommend that these items not be used except by a Master who can replace these lost
abilities
Now, for the construction of the Eithich items. Firstly they are accomplished at the Soumi Dark Wizard
Hadrian's abode. The dark wizard in Soumi will only talk to wizards. He will respond to ye if you enter and speak the word
"necromancy".
For the skulls for construction you need a kobold skull, two branches and a wolf skin, the dark wizard will mold these into
an Eithich skull.
For an ear ya needs zombie flesh and two spider legs.
For the use of Eithich items there is also a chance that the summons will not be what ye intended.
Baelon: Is it worth the risk of losing stats? Just for the sake of summoning a creature that may or may not be of use?
Seara: that is really a personal decision, for a master I would say yes, for someone else, ermm you might not want to at least
wait until ya have got all the spells ya seek. Next question?
HarHArHar: What about casting methods? I've heard its best to cast it multiple times
Seara: casting methods, we will be doing a field trip after the class is cast and roll is taken to demonstrate
Any more questions?
I will now take the roll then we will head to the wastelands for our field trip
*field*
Seara: Now that I have brought you to the wastelands, we may demonstrate how to
properly summon your minions. An important
factor is the rarity of the items, you don't want to waste a hard earned component on a fail summons, so
before you drop yer
skull cast spion torradh many times, try to get as many undead to serve you as possible.
Aye, Shota?
Shota: Most of these younger ones can't do it that many times...
Seara: *laughs*
First I will use the made ear. ((and all, the spell is bugged.. do not try to place a chant on it :P)) Alright, here
goes, and they will gladly worship you *grins*
Eithich skull
And now the ghast skull
