An Easy Run in Back of "La Nouvelle France"

The following are some of the pictures taken a long time ago
during an easy week long run in back of "La Nouvelle France", Digby Co., Nova Scotia...

I know I'm gonna regret this page...hmmmm...

Paddling Long Tusket Lake...boy I miss those days...

A quick stop to get some cool fresh water at a trusted old well...

Repacking the gear so the equipment will clear the low bridge
between Long Tusket Lake and Little Tusket Lake...

Reloading and double checking to make sure all equipment is accounted for...

At one time...a beautiful isolated beach...now damn near a parking lot...

The beach on Little Tusket Lake where we decided to set up our base camp...

Unpacking our gear and reloading it for short runs...

First real stop and time to get some chow ready...

Nothing like food cooked on an open fire in the woods...

Don't say it...I only stopped to take the picture...
I DID help with cleaning up...honest...I did...

Looking at our base camp in the distance as we returned
from an evening paddle to Langford Lake...

Not a soul to be seen...there again...
I guess some people just couldn't take the pace...maybe... :)

The quiet solitude of a wilderness evening...

A cool shave to wake up...enjoying the peacefulness of "La Nouvelle France"...

Oh Lord...it's awake...

The aroma of fresh brewed coffee...bacon and eggs...

We will disregard at this point the comment which was being made...hmmmm

One more cup of coffee and it was off to explore down river on the Silver River...

My canoeing buddy...my wife...and the mother of my kids...

All the photos above were taken by us including those which we are
both in by using either a timer or a remote shutter activating unit...
