Adventures with Ferric Ferrocyanide

On the second to last day of school last year, our class made ferric ferricyanide, Fe[Fe(CN)6] with the purpose of exposing it to the sun and making lovely negative-like photographic exposures, changing the ferric ferricyanide to ferric ferrocyanide. However, Oregon being the cloudy, overcast place that it is, well, it didn't happen (the sun decided not to come out). So, I decided to take a bunch of them home and expose them, which I did. Some turned out better than others, and I learned a few techniques and need to perfect the rest. Anyway, I took a whole bunch of pages out into the sun with sewing items, such as machine feet to see what the outcome would be. Here are some pictures:
