"The Jordan Buck" Soon after being shot in 1914, the buck was taken to a taxidermist, who promptly disappeared with the buck. It remained unknown to the world for 50 years before resurfacing in 1964 to become the world record typical. Upon its reappearing, Jim Jordan, 50 years after shooting the buck, recognized his long-lost deer. Sadly, he spent his last remaining years trying to convince the world he was indeed the hunter who had shot the largest typical of all time. August 1998 - Montgomery, AL |
