Code Description Recovery
001 The transaction was abnormally terminated due to a system error. Retry Transaction and if the situation persists, notify network help desk.
003 An internal processing error caused cronus to malfunction. Retry transaction and notify network help desk of occurrence.
005 The portion of the database on which the subject information resides is not available. Retry transaction and if the situation persists, contact network help desk for status.
007 May occur in the middle of the response and indicates that the transaction was abnormally terminated. Retry transaction and notify network help desk of occurrence.
009 Transmission received by cronus was not recognized. Check input to ensure correct format and retry transaction.
011 An error was encountered in the cronus database. Retry transaction and notify network help desk of occurrence.
013 A short-on-storage condition exists within cronus. Retry transaction and and if the situation persists, contact network help desk.
015 The cronus system is not available at this time. Retry transaction and if the situation persists, contact network help desk.
017 Hardware failure exists on ancillary file disk drive. Notify network help desk.
019 A short-on-resource condition exists within cronus. Retry transaction and if the situation persists, contact network help desk.
021 The market area being accessed is out of service. Retry transaction and if the situation persists, contact network help desk.
023 Hardware failure exists on mainfile disk drive. Notify network help Desk.
025 Mainfile I/O error exists. Notify network help Desk.
027 The subject record being accessed is too long. Notify network help Desk.
029 Hardware failure exists on new subject file disk drive. Notify network help Desk.
031 The subject record being accessed in misformatted. Notify network help Desk.
033 Too many inquiries exist on subject file being accessed. (Most commonly occurs on test records) Notify network help Desk.
099 Undefined system error. Notify network help Desk.
101 Invalid segment identification received. fixed format inquiry record contains an invalid segment ID, or an invalid country code.
103 Intermixed system inquiries received. For tape users, the first FFI inquiry record received determines which product and release is requested. For example, if the first record contains an ARPT, all records will be processed as ARPT.
105 Invalid version switch. ARPT, or AATL inquiry segment contains an invalid version switch.
107 Intermixed version switch For tape users, the first FFI inquiry record received determines which version is requested. For example, if the first record contains an ARTP0, All records will be processed as ARPT). (Version 0)
109 Invalid AK segment counter received. Check input to ensure the number of AD segments sent is the same as the value in this field.
111 Invalid AD segment counter received. Check input to ensure the numbered AD segments sent is the same as the value in this field.
113 Invalid EM segment counter received. Check input to ensure the numbered EM segments sent is the same as the value in this field.
115 Invalid number of segments received. The number of segments received does not agree with the associated segment counter in the ARPT segment, or number segments received is invalid.
117 One or more segments received had an incorrect length. Check input to ensure properly formatted segments and retry transaction.
119 One or more of the segment counter fields received contains invalid or missing data. Check input to ensure valid values for each of the segment counters in the ARPT, AFCT, ATRC, etc.and retry transaction.
199 Undefined field or internal error. Notify network help desk.
201 bureau market missing or invalid. Contact network help desk if assistance is needed.
203 Bureau submarket missing or invalid. Contact network help desk if assistance is needed.
205 Member code missing or invalid Contact network help desk if assistance is needed.
207 Reserved  
209 Password missing or invalid. Contact network help desk if assistance is needed.
299 Undefined error in a credit bureau control field or internal error. Notify network help desk.
301 ECOA inquiry type missing or invalid See ECOA inquiry type codes in the FFI segment layout.
303 Type of processing code or product code missing or invalid for search requested. See the type of processing codes in appendix VI-I . Product codes are defined in DISP. 6 of the ARPT/TDRM inquiry segment.
307 Member code is valid only for government agency disclosure (GAD) service, along with optional trace/traceplus request. Contact local credit bureau for other services.
309 Member code is valid only for Hawkeye search. Contact local credit bureau for assistance.
311 SDB invalid. Contact local credit bureau for assistance.
313 Output blocksize missing or invalid. See the output blocksize
315 Multiple applicant indicator missing or invalid. Must be Y or N.
317 Multiple applicant indicator specified as Y, but the ECOA inquiry type has an individual value. See the ECOA inquiry codes in the FFI segment layout.
319 Multiple applicant indicator specified as a Y. However, the user reference number, credit bureau control, ECOA inquiry type, type of processing code and/or input blocksize code so not match exactly. See the appropriate fields in the FFI segment layout.
321 Transaction is not Atlas but the subscriber is Atlas only or the transaction is Atlas but the subscriber is not authorized for Atlas.  
323 Subscriber not authorized for credit or other product requested.  
399 Undefined error in a processing option field or internal error. Notify Network help desk.
401 Surname missing or invalid.
403 First name missing or invalid.
405 Prefix or Suffix is invalid.
407 UNISSN was invoked, but the SSN is missing or invalid or a pocketbook SSN was entered.
409 Alias missing or invalid.
