Discussions in Taiwan.
Reason for Suspicion:
Some information that was only communicated via my
Telephone, Feb 20, 2000, amazingly appeared in an email message
To me, Feb 22, 2000. Also on Feb 21, 2000, a Taiwanese man who
Identified himself as a Ministry of Foreign Affairs employee came
To "just look around our kayak club house", (in Taiwan.)
I sure hope that the email message is just a coincidence. If not, I guess
This is a kind of warning to keep my mouth shout.
If not a coincidence, the scary part is that
I have traced the origin of the email message sent to me, adam@yahoo.com
It seems to have come from Jacksonville Florida, USA. I have also traced
adam@yahoo.com through the deja.com newsgroups. It seems adam@yahoo.com
is a "radical Moslem" by reading the massive amount of posting he makes
on the Moslem religion.
My first contact to tell this was Mr. Seckler at the AIT. I was quite shocked
with his bluntness, "There's nothing the AIT can do about it except visit you
in jail." He suggested to get a lawyer, call the newspapers, or leave Taiwan.
I think there should be a longer list of options given to US citizens
overseas.
I am writing this to make a public record of the events
