Materials

A paper plate 
Crayons, markers, or tempera paint 
Scissors 
Hole punch 
Green yarn or elastic  

Instructions

1. Draw a jack-o-lantern's face on the back of a paper plate.

2. Cut out the eyes, nose, and mouth. Decorate the rest of the jack-o-lantern.

3. Punch a hole in each side of the mask.

4. Tie a length of green yarn to each side (or use elastic) of the jack-o-lantern.
