The Queensland Section of the Aviation Historical Society Australia (AHSA) was reformed in October 1999.

The original Queensland branch was formed in 1972 but later started to disperse when many members became involved in the quest to establish the Queensland Air Museum.  Our purpose in reforming in October was to reestablish an Aviation Historical Society identity in Queensland and fosters an interest in our aviation heritage.

Our members come from a wide variety of backgrounds not necessary associated with the aviation industry. Each cultivates particular interests within the association.
