Review of the XS B-7
The XS B-7 is a spring piston air gun that is made of milled blued steel, hard wood stock, with micro meter sights, rifled barrel, it is a side cocker and comes with a safety. It looks like a small version of the B-21/Super Max 1000.
This side cocking sporty spring piston air gun really packs a punch. I chronyed this baby in .22 cal. at 650 fps and up to 680 fps with Crosman domed pellets. It is a small light air gun and it's power amazed me, accuracy was very good, it has a very smooth trigger pull. The side cocking action was easy to cock. Actually due to its smooth trigger pull, light weight, easy cocking, it's great accuracy, it was hard for me to stop shooting the gun, it was relaxing and fun to shoot, it didn't tire me.
After having some fun shooting it for a while I decided to take off the stock to see what was inside this baby.
After taking off the stock I exam the labor done on the XS B-7. This air gun is made to last, all pins are peened and blued. I also notice that the power plant is similar to that of XS B-3.
After testing the XS B-7 I have found it is a good air gun for a adult or youngster. Due to the easy side cocking action it would make a great air gun for a youngster, female or a small adult. Great for plinking, target practice and close range small game hunting.
