  Here is a very interesting  Modified B-21, with a beautiful modified stock done by Airheaded/Ray. 

In Airheaded's efforts to reduce the weight of the B-21 down to 7.7 lbs and to make his B-21 more sporty/balanced,  he cut off 8 1/2 inches off the barrel and re-crowned the barrel.  He also reshaped the fore end tip of the stock and reduced the sides of the front of the stock.

Airheaded also tapered the last 3" of the sides fore end stock and removed 1/4" from the bottom of entire fore end stock (from the tip to the trigger guard).  He put a heavy radius along both bottom edges, blended all the wood around the trigger's guard, flush to the casting.  Reshaped the pistol grip with custom finger grooves for his fingers and a recess area for the palm of his hand on the right side.  He also reshaped the cap area and lowered / lengthened the top of pistol grip for his thumb.

Notice the beauty of the wood.  Airhead consulted a "Wood Expert" and was informed that the wood is known as "Myrtle Wood".

He removed the "undercut" at the front of the cheek piece on the right side.  He also lowered the check piece to fit him more comfortably.  Shorten the cheek piece at the top, both front and back (more than 1" each end) for his sweet spot.  Removed the heavy "step" around the check piece, tapered from bottom to top and a  Heavy Radius along the top left side [per model 70 Winchester].  

Re-tapered the lower edge of rear stock with a relief at the pistol grip.

Smoothed the stock to blend smoothly with butt cap.

To bring out the beauty of the wood, he used 4 applications of Olympic Ebony stain and several coats of Tung Oil.

Here we see the finished product that took about 14 hours of work and a cost of about $20.00.

Airheaded's Modified B-21 is now sporty, lighter and better balanced and has a beautiful stock finish.

Although cutting the barrel of a air gun is not recommended, it could reduce the speed (fps) of a air gun, Airheaded says his Modified B-21 shoots great.
