Max 1000/B-21 Review.
What a beauty, what a Powerhouse!
For the last 2 weeks I have been testing the Super Max 1000/B-21, also known as the TF-21 and the XS B-21. This baby shoots (.177 cal.) at 950 fps and up to 1,000 fps (perhaps more). It is a large handsome air gun, it has a handy side cocker and only a strong adult can handle this baby. It has interchangeable sights with a micro back sight, a smooth adjustable trigger with a thumb safety, a cocking safety, and a beautiful hard wood stock with a soft rubber stock butt.

The model I tested was a .177 caliber. It was true on course even at 50 yards with Crosman pointed pellets. I then began testing it's awesome power, first using a hard tin cracker can, the Crosman pointed pellets went right thru both sides of the can at 70 feet with ease. After seeing what the Super Max did to the tin can, I decided to shoot at a 1/2 each thick plywood panel and the pellet went thru it with ease and kept on going. The next day, I was thinking how easily the Super Max took the test of the 1/2 inch plywood panel, so I decided to do one more test. I shot a Crosman pointed pellet at a 3/4 inch thick plywood panel and it went thru the plywood panel, now that's power, SUPER POWER.
I then decided to oil the spring piston and the barrel with a little "Slick 50", to my surprise on the 3rd, 4th and 5th shots the rifle gave off a crack like that of a .22 rim fire rifle, thinking twice it sounded louder than a .22 rim fire rifle, it gave off a Ka Pow sound, which means the pellet passed the speed of sound, in other words it broke the sound barrier, 1080 fps.
My cousin came over to see my new Super Max 1000/B-21 and came with his Gamo Hunter (1,000 fps). We tested both rifles side by side and we found that the Super Max was more powerful than his Gamo Hunter. We also found that the Super Max 1000 was better made than his Gamo Hunter. We both agreed that the Super Max 1000/B-21 was a better deal than the Gamo Hunter.
