Heckler and Koch PSG-1 *
Starting with the basic H&K G3 action, H&K- with a great deal of input from the West German GSG9 section of the Boprder Police, the British 22nd SAS and Israeli's various counter terrorist units - developed a semi-automatic, long-range tactical rifle in the mid-1980s. Original standard military barrel substituted by 25.6" (650mm) heavy barrel with polygonal rifling. Special butt stock with cheek plate, adjustable trigger and receiver designed to accept all NATO STANAG claw mounts to accept wide range of scopes completes the picture. PSG-1 originally fitted with Hensoldt 6X fixed power scope with illuminated reticle. This rifle is one of the most expensive on the market, being sold for more than US $9.000.
