Tippman A-5
Ahh yes, my favorite Paintball gun. I will start with looks. As most of you know and for those who don't this Paintball gun's looks are much alike to the real H&K MP5k. So basiclly think, "MP5k with a silencer". The funnest thing about this gun is that you can remove the bottomline and have a 9oz tank comming out from the bottom of the gun for a nice compact style. There is also a sling mount so you can buy some sort of sling for it if you want to. It uses the new Cyclone Feed System which gives it a VERY high ROF (15rps)! Now I will talk about other things and firing it. First off it's very light, considering that it's almost all metal with a few plastic pieces here and there. After loading the paintballs into the hopper and putting on the C02 tank, you then pull back the charging lever, then you must push in a small slide behind the feeder to get the hopper feeding paintballs in. Like any stock barrel this is no better and is not too accurate, I would highly recomend buying a better barrel soon after buying this gun (it uses pro/carbine threads for the barrel). This gun has very good range. Almost about the same as when using a flatline barrel (and they are comming out with a flatline barrel for the A-5, imagine the range!). It is very accurate when using a better barrel then the stock barrel. The trigger pull is perfect, not too heavy, not too light. When firing, this gun is very fast. With a good trigger-finger you can keep your oppenent's heads down for a while. It is very easy to field-strip and can be oiled and cleaned in a matter of seconds. Personally I love this gun and truthfully there are few guns that can out preform this gun.

Tippman 98 Custom
The Tippmann 98 Custom is a great gun for paintballers that are just starting out. You can get it for around $125 which is a great price for it's preformance. To start, the gun is made almost fully out of metal like all other Tippmann guns, and also like all other Tipmann guns the stock barrel sucks. It suggest you upgrade as soon as possible. When I ordered mine I also bought a Flatline Barrel. The Flatline Barrel makes a big difference in range, putting a backspin on the paintball to send it very far and still stay pretty accurate. If you don't want to spend $100+ on the Flatline Barrel then you should get a LAPCO Bigshot, they are accurate and reliable for a price of $50. Back to the gun itself, it is powered by C02. It comes with a standard hopper which gets the job done. The gun rarely breaks any paintballs but if you are using a "cheap" brand of paintballs you will be washing the gun a lot. It is fairly easy to clean when you get used to it. Although it doesn't have field stripping pins like the new A-5 it can easily be unscrewed and opened. It's best to do this at home. Oiling the moving parts is highly recomended because the bolt may sometimes act stuborn and won't budge. In all the Tippman 98 Custom is a great choice for people just starting out. I might add more to this review later but I hope it helps.

Brass Eagle Samurai
First off there are much better and more reliable paintball guns to buy with $60 then the Samurai(Spyder Compact 2000). The outer shell of the Samurai is made out of hard plastic which gets the job done but could be made a bit more durable. There is a lack of metal parts yet the gun is quite hefty for being mostly plastic. Unfortunatly there are no aftermarket barrels you can purchase for this gun. The barrel screws in and out for easy cleaning and is made of metal. The accuracy is very low and paintballs tend to divert from their flight off to the sides. To cock the gun you must pull the "hammer" back which is located on the back of the gun. Once cocked a red tab will slide up in the middle of the "hammer" to indicate that it is cocked. It's hard to see but the plastic "hammer", but if you look closely it comes out and bashes into the reciver of the gun quickly which may cause damage to the shell and start to split the mold around the handle but this does not seem to affect the preformance of the gun.. The trigger pull is ok but not the best but the gun has a double trigger which allows for faster shots. Firing the gun it does not have a whole lot of range either so the best tactic is to lie in wait for opponents to come near your. This gun is very loud when you are firing it, but one thing I noticed is that it hardly ever breaks paint which is good considering it's barrel is bad. In conclusion this gun is ok for beginners but you really should save up a little bit more money for something better or go with a more reliable gun like the Spyder Compact 2000.
