| Here we are in Dublin - walking around, eating at trendy restaurants, and enjoying good coffee (especially me!). We met up with our friends from Abu Dhabi - Yasmine, Jo, and David (who is Irish). We hit the touristy spots - Trinity College, Christ Church, Temple Bar, and of course Dalkey, David's hometown. On the outskirts of Dublin, we visited Newgrange burial mounds, Powerscourt mansion, and Glendalough (monastic ruins). It was nice to see foliage in abundance - but it rained everyday that we were there apart from our arrival! Read about Dublin at Lonely Planet. |
