So much hype was built around the supposed Kobe Bryant-playalike even before he could play his first game in the league. The hoopla only got bigger after the kid dished off a couple of spectacular games in the year.

The Fil-Am guard, was nowhere near the player he was initially made out to be. But he turned out to be an athletic and dedicated cager who, with some more polishing, can become a key player in the league.
