The exhibition is a countrywide recent photographic survey of Celtic Scotlands'
land and seascapes by the Belgian fine art photographer "Radan" André
Devlaeminck ( Fleming )
primarily, as well as featuring visitors' choosen
favourites attended with a small portfolio of antique Scottish prints.
Those nostalgic , mystic and romantic land- and seascapes are idyllic . Every picture
is a poetical escape from hard reality. This year will be in focus: the picturesque
"CASTLE STALKER" , CAERLAVEROCK CASTLE, QUEENS'VIEWon Loch
Tummel,LOCH an EILEIN, RUTHVEN BARRACKS and GLENCOE.
The photographer-pictorialist, recorded in the Web's Top Wildlife Nature &
Landscape Photography is one of the worldwide few artists working intensively with
the special manual application of the antique , alternativ and unique "BROMOIL"
print technique. But the onlyone who colours his bromoils with fast watercolour
pigments by handbrushing, technique called by himself : CHROMOBROMOILS.
It emphasies the impressionist pictorial effect , dominated by "light" and
"atmosphere". He gives photos a painterly dreamy look . Many of Radan's effects
surpass what might be achieved with a camera.
