Messenger RNA carry a DNA gene code from the nucleus to the cytoplasm in a sequence of codons for proteins creation. Messenger RNA bases are A for adenine, U for uracil, C for cytosine, and G for guanine. A codon is a combination of three messenger RNA bases. There are 64 codons. Sixty-one codons are code for one of the twenty amino acids. Some amino acids have more than one codon. Three codons are stops of amino acid sequence. The stops codons are UAA, UAG, and UGA. The AUG is codon code for amino acid methioninee and for the start of a amino acid sequence.
Transfer RNA bring the correct amino acid to the messager RNA. Transfer RNA have an anticodon. Since there are 61 codon for amino acids, there are 61 anticodon and 61 types of transfer RNA.
