Update: After the fall of the Commonwealth, the Perseids return to their ancestral homeworld in massive numbers. Ugroth now have close to 150 billion Perseids. Ugroth was able to sustain its 100 time increase in population by importing most of their food supplies and by tapping Ugroth's core for geothermal energy.

Other Detail: Ugroth is the homeworld of the Pereids. When the Perseids had space travel, most Perseids departed from their native world. Ugroth's varied climates and diverse terrain is very similar to the human homeworld, Earth. Unlike humans, the Pereids seemed to have litte attachment to their homeworld. Ugrolth Perseids sometimes unjustly believed to be slow and narrow minded by their offworld cousins.
