August will herald the first Dragons Barbecue at Clatto Park. Apparently for a mere £3:00 for adults and £0:00 for kids a tasty mid summer BBQ menu has been devised consisting of tandoori chicken, roast drumsticks (not of the wooden variety), succulent burgers on buns, spicy hot dogs, tossed green salad, tomato and onion salad, potato salad and pasta Italiane. Now is the time to book as early indications of numbers are important. Phone Alex on (01382) 223187 or Frank on (01382) 817837. NB. Hats with corks, and shrimps on the Bar-B are obligatory.


	What's torrid, what's horrid! (up to week ending May 30th) Loch Rutton - Sizzling Clatto - Phlegmatic River Endrick - Scalding Loch Lomond - Moderate Loch Ken - Fervent Laird's Loch - Frigid River Tay - Indifferent Trottick Ponds - Intense Report from Trottick given by a trout angler who hooked into a 3 1/2 pound perch, yes 3 1/2, and was hit by a pike. Still managed to land perch! WOW - at Trottick! The angling mind boggles at that. With the exception of Trottick, all local waters appear to be stuck in spawning mode. Still, things can only get better, and soon we hope.
