The Crossover:
An Animorphs-Babylon 5 Crossever
"It's over," said John Sheridan, "because we've decided its over. Now get the hell out of our-" At this point, there was a bright flash of light, and John Sheridan noticed several things. He was in a different ship altogether. He had been violently thrust against a wall, and was now lying on the ground. His forehead was bleeding. There was a Shadow standing over him. Then, a tall Hispanic woman wearing a uniform charged at the Shadow, they grappled for a bit, then she went screaming away. The Shadow, apparently having forgotten about John, walked away. John put his hands on the wall and pushed himself up. Then, using the wall for support, we slowly walked away.
As he passed through a corridor, he came across what he at first took to be a Shadow. But this creature was blue, and instead of a Shadow's horns, it had two flexible stalks that were topped by- eyes! It also had a long tail, with arced upward into a menacing-looking blade. The creature spoke to him telepathically.
<I'll deal with you later, human.>
With that, it trotted off. John stumbled, but was caught by another of the Blue Shadows, this one not much more than a child. It hauled him into a room, where he promptly passed out.

"What are you going to do, Mollari?" Mr. Morden said smugly, "Blow up the island?"
"Actually," replied Londo Mollari, "Now that you mention it..." he pressed a button and a resounding BOOM was heard. Morden's smug look promptly vanished. Then the ceiling exploded. Londo, Morden, and the guards restraining Morden looked up. A large, blade-like ship was hovering over them. A walkway extended from the bottom of the ship the hull. A human emerged, followed by a large froglike creature. The creature stared at Londo and Morden for a few seconds, then it and the human ascended the walkway, which retracted. The Blade ship flew away. For a few seconds no one said anything.
"Well, now," said Londo, breaking the silence, "Where were we?"
"Uhhh...." John said, regaining consciousness. He was surrounded by the young Blue Shadow, four human children, and what appeared to be a bird. In the corner was a small, damaged android.
<I have found some Yeerk scanning equipment, and this human is not a Controller.>
"He must be from the alternate dimension," said human boy who seemed to be the leader. Sheridan heard a faint voice say "NO CUTE KIDS! NO CUTE ROBOTS! EVER" and then passed out again.
The Leader of Shadows addressed its brethren. MY COMRADES. WE HAVE BEEN FOOLS. SHERIDAN HAS BEEN RIGHT IN ONE RESPECT: WE ARE ONLY KEEPING THE VORLONS ALIVE SO THEY WILL LIVE TO SEE OUR VICTORY. BUT NOW, WE MUST PUT ASIDE THIS SELFISH MOTIVE AND DO WHAT IS NECESARY TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN. WE MUST DESTROY THE VORLONS. The Shadows cheered. Visser One smiled. So far, so good.
"And then," Jake continued his explanation, "Erek told us about a Node being built in space to create a portal to an alternate dimension and take control of a vastly powerful species. So we stowed away on a Yeerk vessel bound for here, the Node. Once we arrived we fought our way to this room, which we are using as our stronghold, but Erek has was badly damaged during the battle."
Erek moved his head slightly, "Jake.... I must be taken to the portal control center... I can destabilize it..."
"Marco, Rachel," commanded Jake, "help him get there. Bring Sheridan, he needs to get back to his own universe. The rest of us will create a diversion for as long as possible. Everyone keep a lookout for Marco's mother. Assuming she hasn't been recaptured, this may be our chance to save her." Sheridan's fleet was scattered. The Shadows had renewed their assualt on the Vorlons, and the Vorlons had recommenced attacking Shadow-touched worlds. The brief glimmer of hoep for peace had abruptly vanished. The crew of Babylon 5 had returned to the station to formulate a new plan.
"Everything is going according to plan," said Chapman, checking in with Visser Three via Z-Space radio, "Visser Four and I have found what you sent us to find." We're at the secondary Node you sent up and preparing to jump back into our universe. Detonation of the secondary Node will commence as soon as we're through, and I assure you there will be no evidence of what we've done until it is too late."
<There had better not be,> growled Visser Three, <When this is over and Visser One is defeated, Visser Two, the weak fool, will be easy to dispose of. Then I will be Visser One, and my good friend Visser Four will be Visser Two. As for you, we can at the very least get you a Vissership, and you should be able to soon rise the ranks to replace me.>
<Thank you, Visser.>
"Accessing...Controls..." said Erek, whose condition was deteriorating. Suddenly, Marco's mother stumbled into the portal chamber. "Marco!" she cried, stunned.
Suddenly, there was a blast of light and Erek was knocked away from thecontol box. He yelled something about the portal destabalizing and he wastrying to at least guide it into somethign with an atmosphere. The portalbegan to activate... Visser Three felt a disturbance in the air behind him and turned to faceVisser One, <Greetings. I have been expecting you.>
VISSER THREE. YOU HAVE BEEN A THORN IN MY SIDE FOR TOO LONG.
<Doubtless. But before you use your newfound host's power to blast me outof existence, there is something you should know. You have arranged forseveral Shadow vessels to be brought into this universe. These vessels, while powerful, have an important flaw, which we have learned via scanningsome others in their universe: their use of other lifeforms as Central Processing Units can be obstructed by telepathy. This is a very difficulttask in their universe, but their universe contains nothing with telepathiccapabilities on the scale of the Leerans. On the humans of that universe's scale of P1 to P12, I would classify most Leerans as about P60. A group of Leerans led by Visser Four is on their way to the Node right now. On my order- or if anything happens to me- they will render any Shadow vesselsthat come through the Node completely and permanently useless. Any attemptto use your superior authority to prevent this may result in a civil war.>
Visser One was silent for several seconds. YOU ARE CLEVER. Then she phased out and left.
"Ugh..." Marco groaned, "Where am I?" He was in a room, which
was also occupied by a man with... something... onthe back of his head. The man put
his palms together and bowed. "Greetings. I am Lennier, and welcome to Babylon
5."
Tha Animorphs had managed to recover Erek and Marco's finally free mother, but Marco and Rachel had vanished. John Sheridan was looking out the windowwith a great deal of worry. A pair black, spidery vessels were flying aroundthe Node.
"This doesn't look good..." he murmured. I tried to get out of this fight, Rachel assured herself, I'm only doingthis because I have to in order to preserve the peace. Not simple because Ithink this "Drazi" is a big jerk... She prepared to morph Grizzly.
"We are looking," said a loudspeaker voice, "for a girl named Rachel from another dimension. Will Rachel please report to Brown 10..." There were some chuckles at this, and Rachel hurried off. She told herselfrepetitively that no, she was not disappointed that she didn't get to pummel the Drazi.
"And then this wierd bald guy made me watch Daffy Duck cartoons and then they sent out a rescue party to find you," Marco was saying, "They thinkthey know a place where we might have a chance of getting back to our universe- it's called Epsilon 3."
Andalite warship Afalin was on a routine patrol when a high-pitched was heard over the radio. Suddenly, two shapes were pereived moving toward theship. Each looked like two shadowy spiders joined together. One of theshadows fired a blast of energy at Afalin, which scrambled its fighters. Theshadow-ships responded by releasing a pod that exploded into fighters oftheir own. Afalin concentrated its fire on one of the shadow "legs," and broke it off. The wounded shadow jerked around in pain, causing it tocollide with the other one and become entangled with it. With a push from Afalin's tractor beam, the two ships fell into a nearby star's gravity well. Meanwhile, however, the shadow fighters had almost completely overwhelmedthe Andalite fighters, and began attacking Afalin. But before they can destroy it, the two shadow-ships came screeching back from the star and blow the Afalin to bits.

"You spaced the poor teddy bear... awww...." Cassie was saying.
"I don't like being caricatured as small fuzzy animals," said John Sheridan.
<What's wrong with small fuzzy animals?> Tobias put in.
<We are the Helmacrons! You are hopelessly outgunned and outbrained! Surrender
now and we may allow you to live as our slaves!>
Jake sighed. "Here we go again......." Upon arriving on Epsilon 3, Marco and Rachel were escorted by Zathras to Zathras, who introduced them to Zathras. They decided they liked Zathras, but not Zathras. They finally ended up in a meeting with Zathras. (Zathras was unavailibe.) "Nobody listen to Zathras," Zathras lamented, "Zathras say, 'Travellers from other dimension. Very interesting. Should meet. But Zathras say "No! Other dimension boring. No talk.' Stupid Zathras... Nobody listen to Zathras...."
Suddenly, several Shadows appeared. WE ARE CLAIMING THIS PLANET AND ITS TECHNOLOGY.
INCORRECT. Marco looked up, "Rachel, do you see what I see?" "I see them, Marco." The Shadows were surrounded with what appeared to... angels! They were...so beautiful... Marco blinked and rubbed his eyes, and he saw that the creatures were in fact white, glowing jellyfish. Then the jellyfish and Shadows started fighting.
"Hey! Hey!" cried Marco, "Hey! Wierdo people! Listen!" "STOP!" yelled Rachel. The two races seized their battle long enough to look at the two humans. (Zathras had performed a tactical retreat.)
"Okay," said Marco, "This how it is:"
YOU ARE SURE THIS BODY WILL NOT WAKE UP?
"Yes sir," said a lieutenant, "There are enough sedatives in this shot to subdue even this creature." As the Shadow was sedated, Visser One crawled out of its ear canal and into the Yeerk Pool to recuperate. An armed detail was guarding the Shadow, but they soon got bored. Afterall, the thing was asleep. So they didn't notice when a human figure popped in, rubbed the sleeping Shadow, and scurried away.
Oh Greatest of the Great, Most Magnificent of the Magnificent, we have frightened
the Yeerk outpost into submission! They were so paralyzed withfear they were reduced to
pathetically begging for mercy! "We don't havetime for this, go away." Were
their exact words. We pitied them enough todelay their total destruction for a while. Let
them whimper in their terror.
-From the log of the Helmacron ship, Lightning Warrior
Jake pictured the Shadow and prepared to morph. His skin hardened and turned black.
Each of his legs split into two. His face widened and grewhorns. His twelve- count 'em
twelve- eyes shone read. And then he felt- the power! The power of a force billions of
years older than the oldest life on Earth...
SHERIDAN, WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THESE THINGS?
"They're extremely powerful and can go invisible."
Jake phased out and went to seek Visser One. He found her testing her powers and attacked. He had the element ofsurprise, but Visser One had the experience of an ancient Shadow mind at her disposal, and she sooned subdued him.
"Visser!" A voice said over the intercom, "Ten unscheduled Shadow vessels are coming through the Node! They're arming weapons!" The Visser pressed a button to reroute the intercom.
VISSER THREE- USE THE LEERANS- NOW!
"Visser! More ships coming through!"
WE ARE THE VORLONS. YOUR TELEPATHIC WEAPONRY IS INEFFECTIVE AGAINST US. YOU WILL SURRENDER THE SHADOW PRISONER TO US.
DRAT said Visser One I'LL JUST HAVE TO SETTLE FOR AN ANDALITE WITH A SHADOW MORPH!
She grabbed Jake's head and brought it to her ear. She began to transfer from one host to another. Then, her Shadow body was attacked by two Vorlons, and she fell to the ground, hostless.
<Hiya Jake,> said Rachel. The other Vorlon stepped on Visser One, <Oops.> The Shadows and the Vorlons returned the Animorphs --and Marco's mother-- to Earth after their DNA was removed from Jake, Cassie, and Marco. Then they crossed back over to their universe and destroyed the Node. After delivering Sheridan to Babylon 5, they journeyed beyond the Rim to the next great adventure.....
Where the Yeerk Node once existed, the Helmacrons prowled the rubble. They had
defeated the Yeerks so easily they hadn't even been conscious of doing it. Most of the
spoils were useless, though. One piece of scrap metal, however, was quite odd in one
respect- it was talking. "Hello? Hello? Have you all forgotten me? HELL-OO!"
The Helmacrons were confused.
