Plot:
The Yeerks have a new system, a ground-based Kandrona generator which could beam Kandrona rays via sattelite into virtually any body of water on Earth, almost eliminating the weakness created by needing to visit the Yeerk pool. So the Animorphs have to stow away on the Visser's ship and destroy the base. The only problem is that the base is located in the Arctic. And the Yeerks have a new group of aliens bred for the cold . . . and to kill. And the Arctic is no place for kids in Spandex.
Comments:
This is another of the plot-driven Marco books. The thing with the Venber was kind
of cool, though it seemed a little strange that they gave themselves away to a local kid
(even though they were in kind of tight spot) with a Yeerk operation right there. It is
very much worth reading though.
