Animorphs #35: The Proposal Plot: Marco has been under a lot of stress lately; besides his usual duties, he has to worry about a newly-discovered Controller turning thousands to The Sharing, and -- worst of all -- his dad's dating again, and is thinking about remarriage. (Which isn't so bad until you remember that Marco's mother, a.k.a Visser One, is almost guaranteed to be still alive . . . ). All the stress is causing Marco to do strange things with morphing, somewhat like Ax's human Frolis maneuver. And he has an important decision to make, concerning his father . . . |

Comments:
This book was pretty good. I can't be entirely fair to it, because when I read it I
was not only in a dark mood (and this book is lighthearted and cutely funny), but I was
impatiently reading it because I had abstained from reading VISSER for 18 hours (not
counting the prologue . . .) and really wanted to get to it. I bought VISSER first because
of annoying price and bookstore things I won't go into now. But it generally was a good
book. Fortunatly, the mixed-morphing thing dosn't play some major role in the books, it's
more like one of the many complications that cause an Animorph's dillema. Like K.A. put it
in just to appease the fans, "okay, yes, morphs can be combined in extreme
conditions," and I like it that way. Much better than an entire plot written because
a bunch of people thought it would be neat. (Of course, I have the feeling it's been done
. . . ^^)
